growing poppies isn't illegal. People grow them all over the neighborhood in plain sight in small amounts. Not for illegal use, just for the pretty flowers.

any advice re: temperature or light preferences for the poppies? Mine are of the mccormick variety, and indoors. I must have spilled some seed or something because I keep finding them growing in my clones lol

Your right,smokin opium is not that bad for you,a picture is being painted here that it's like smoking crack, where just a few tokes & your gonna rip off your grandmothers rent money,this is not the case.

I'll bet ive smoked a pound of opium over several decades & i never got hooked,strung out or even craved the stuff,opium used to be EVERYWHERE in the 1970's & very potent shit too.The shit that was on the streets then was strong enough where it would turn you into the village idiot,drooling all over your face & blew out on the sofa for an hour or two,happy to be destroyed too :mrgreen:.

There's nothing like the smell of freshly smoked opium either:weed:

i grew a small crop of them last summer and made some tea from about 10 dry heads... won't be doing that again! i just got chills thinking about the taste, seriously. but the reason i won't do it again is because it's so hard to dose right. i puked and slept for almost 2 days then felt like i had a bad hangover for another day. ruined my weekend and nearly died, etc..

be careful with this stuff if you play. but yeah, i'll be growing a few hundred again this year because they're so pretty.

THARE ARE SO MENY KINDS OF POPPY YOU WANT THE AFGANI POPPY THATS THE STRONG SHIT... THE GOOD ONES COME FROM AFGANASTAND IS HOW THAY MAKE DOPE... SO THAY NEED A LOT OF LIGHT/SUN...
I GROWED THEM AND THAY ARE HARD TO GROW INDOOR I NO HOW TO MAKE DOPE WITH THEM... IF SOMEONE NEEDS INFO ON IT HIT ME UP...
