I hate hillary and part of me is super fucking glad they're gone. Both candidates sucked. I voted for hillary to block trump. Some people voted for trump to block hillary. I get that, too.
I just don't have much in common with someone who voted for either of those two because they thought they were a great candidate. They are both amongst the worst candidate offering ever.

I'm a Libertarian but unfortunately at this point with the way our voting system is set up a vote for Johnson was a wasted vote. Until theres an overhaul of the current system and the Electoral College is removed there won't be any real change.

I was no clinton supporter but she would not have wrecked the country to feed her ego and make a few bucks and the cheeto jesus will. If things go as bad as I suspect, this will be the death rattle of the GOP and their racist followers unless they find some way to tear up the constitution and make new rules to suit them, I wouldn't put it past them to try tho.

NPR is part of the left so not a good source. In reality, Trump increased the % Romney got with blacks while the numbers and %s stayed the same with Hispanics and Orientals. All you have/had to do was look at the maps and the flips of certain counties to see that Trump won because counties that previously voted for Obama voted for the change he now represents. How could that represent racism? Actually is shows just the opposite.

A lot of kids resisted the draft, demonstrated and eventually got us out of vietnam. Protesting kids did that. Had they not, more soldiers would have died. Protesting kids fucked with Nixon badly. Some kids protested, some kids went to the battlefield. Both should be honored.
It is very sad that the returning soldiers were treated poorly. It's good that we remember how bad that was.
