I have places to be as well. I leave LA at 6am, I expect to be home in Portland by 8pm. If I have to keep switching to the right lane to accomodate speeders, there will be a number of times that I get stuck in the right lane for a while and lose time. I am not going to make my trip longer to accomodate dangerous drivers

Question for you...if many motorists on the highway and most people in this thread are letting you know that you are not behaving acceptably is it your own pride that keeps you posting and driving in a fashion that annoys others?

haha, you actually think i'm going to start nudging bumbers doing 90mph. it would only get unsafe if i decided to make it unsafe. i'm not a retard behind the wheel.

what would you do if someone is driving infront of you doing 20mph in a 60mph zone and overtaking isn't an option?

Dude are you really that naive? Since when is going 20 over the limit endangering anything unless you're driving RECKLESS. YOU are endangering more people by SLOWLY passing semi trucks and putting yourself and 2+ others in the blind spot of a semi. Pay attention to your surroundings and learn how to fucking drive with other people on the road.

I speed to put moronic drivers like you FAR behind me and out of my way. Because the fact your not moving means you are not a good driver, do not pay attention to your surroundings, and are endangering more people by not moving over and becoming unpredictable to the upcoming driver.

So in your view, it is not the asshats that tailgate and speed recklessly causing the accidents, it is the dude driving an acceptable speed.

I understand how driving too slow is just as bad as driving too fast, but I just don't see it in this case. I drive 10 over in the fast lane. I would say it is the folks trying to drive as fast as they can who are more likely to be causing accidents.

If you are not keeping up with the speed of traffic you are a danger. The right lane is the correct lane for people doing 5 under - 10 over. If you need to pass...do so on the left side and immediately return to the right. Common courtesy.

You didn't answer my question, where does AZ get the idea to ticket folks at 11 over? Just arbitrary?

So do we decide speed limits by mob rule?

Also, the folks on the highway who had a problem with me were BY FAR the minority. 99% of folks had no problem with my way of driving.

The method that I described to you is how I drive fyi. I set my cruise control at exactly 10 over...and occasionally need to pass on the left but for MASSIVE chunks of highway...10 over is perfect for the right lane.

Whatever. You have determined yourself to be right and just wish for people to agree with you. When they do not...it's obviously their major malfunction. It cannot POSSIBLY be that you are incorrect.

10 over is more than keeping up with the speed of traffic, it means I pass about 90% or more of the folks out there. The FOOLS who feel entitled to do whatever speed THEY THINK is safe (but is not) are the ones not keeping up with the speed of traffic.

Should I have started following the ass hat doing 120 through Coalinga so that I 'kept up with the speed of traffic'?

yes that is the HILARIOUS part. He HATES people going 5 over or going the actual speed limit. They are douchebags that are slowing him down. ONLY people going EXACTLY 10 miles per hour are correct. 11 over? douchebag. 9 over? douchebag.

Now you are just making shit up. I never said this, and I do not live it.

I encountered a very few folks camped out doing 5 over in the left lane. I waited for the right lane to open and I passed them. I sometimes would make a nasty face at them as I passed, but no more. No tailgating, no honking, nothing unsafe.

But nice try at defining me to fit your tilt....

My problem is ONLY with the assholes who expect me to get behind that truck doing 64 so that they can continue to blast down the road doing 90. Those are the only ones I have a problem with. Everyone else doing the speed limit or as much over it as LEOs allow is fine in my book

EDIT - Please show me where I said that only folks doing exactly 10 over are OK and everyone else is a problem. Go ahead. I dare you. Quit making shit up already

so you drive dangerously, pasing on the right, and you physically show your disdain, sounds like you're being a hypocrite to me :) and yes, you are the one that brought up 11mph and tried to smear iot at us, so why is 10 so much more righteous and correct and acceptable than 11? simply because you're not getting a ticket?
