Can someone recommend a couple of good one hit wonders? I just put in an order for a bag (I'm out and waiting on next harvest) and they tell me that's what it is

I have been smoking longer than most people on this site has been alive and have smoked more strains than I could possibly keep up with and I have yet to see a 1-hit wonder.
Maybe if someone has smoked 2 or 3 times in their life, they might smoke one hit and get really high.
If you are a semi-regular smoker, there is no such thing as a 1-hit wonder in my experiences.

Just came to say the same exact thing .. spot on post imvho..
I'll be 42 in a few and have been smoking since my teens and never had any cannabis that after a single toke I wasn't ready for another one.. never ever..

I've never smoked any ceeds that got me high at all, let alone in one hit. I'm also with Althor (see below).
While there is certainly stuff strong enough that you'll have some real effect after one hit, if you're talking about a regular JOINT (not bong) hit from flowers (not hash), I've never encountered anything where I was "done" after only one hit.

I haven't off the street hydro around but have off a few of my own growing and been growing only for 13 yrs but smoking for 35 yrs and get ripped from the time I get up till I go to bed,lol...I thought mental floss x double purple doja ,east coast purple diesel ,og 18, double bubble gum doja were the best imo,big bong rips tho.

i respect your consistency! That's kind of like eating all the vegetables on your plate.
Kidding aside, in my opinion, if you really want "one hit and you're done" you'll need to take a big hit of high-grade hash, or an oil "dab".
Some strains, obviously, lend themselves to making high quality concentrates much more than others, but I think if you're willing to sacrifice the buds and do the work concentrating the resin, you can turn almost any weed into really potent stuff.
I think its probably better to rephrase the original question like this: What high potency strains are available in ceed form that can get you really medicated without needing to smoke much?

SAD from Sweet Seeds is pretty close to this 1 hit thing for me. After 2 hits I sometimes feel like I smoked too much for a few minutes. Locked down feeling.
No strain leaves me on the floor after 1 hit, or has me feeling as though another hit would be too much. Just that this SAD does the job with 1 toke and I avoid the 'couchlock' feeling. I smoke indica but do not want to be immobilized, just relaxed.

I've had some where three hits melts your face. Same stuff also kept me downstairs glued to my chair after a fat bowl (definitely more than 3 hits) for 45 mins. My legs wouldn't function to go up the stairs so I went back to my smoke room to reflect. Sadly, the person I got it from didn't know the strain name.

This. I've smoked some incredible bud, but I never stop at one hit... almost makes me feel like the high is a waste, kinda like when you drink 2-3 beers and just feel full but hardly tipsy.
That said, I've taken some massive bong snaps on accident.... when I start coughing before I can exhale, it's probably a one hit wonder lol.... but that has a lot more to do with the crazy huge hit than the bud itself I think.

I agree, there is no such strain that will satisfy after one pull.
I have been smoking for well over 40 years.
If I quit for at least a couple of weeks or so, then it takes about 1/2 as many tokes.
IMO the best way to get the buzz you want without having to smoke much is to have a variety of strains available.

Don't think it exists. I don't smoke very much anymore (an 8th will last me about a month) and when I do, it's always super elite. Still need to smoke much more than one hit to be satisfied. The only one hit quitter IMO is something out of a huge water gravity bong. It's like a third of a joint in your lungs at one time. That's a one hit quitter. Don't do those anymore. That was back in the day when I was a heavy smoker.

a nice hit of bubble hash or bho off a nail one hit will get you blazed. can't say any bud got me blazed off one hit except maybe a few years ago when I quit for well over a month and some kid had some dank and damn I got roasted if only I didn't need to quit for a while to get that high except I'd say the cookies I made got me pretty close its so much stronger of an effect that way I could only imagine quiting for a month and then eating edibles I'd be fucked.

I've had some bomb ass weed that would get you high after a good hit, but I always smoked more. I'm an all day every day type of smoker too, so I agree with everyone on this one. But there are strains that would get the light or inexperienced smoker blazed after a hit. Pineapple Chunk, OG#18, Super Lemon Haze were probably the strongest one's that I have grown from seed so far, but I have grown alot of really good tasting strains that weren't quite as potent. This White Fire I just finished up is pretty strong too. It was extremely frosty and stinky too. Straight fuel and skunk funk with alot of lung expansion!

I am a lite weight when it comes to token. So I have had a very few one hitters that got me really baked off flowers. (Sour D, Williams wonder, Sour Maui, and Lime)
Not that it would make me quit, but I can be very high for an hour or more off one hit. But it is different for everyone. I found that the fresher 2 weeks-3 weeks after harvest the effect if it is the first hit of the day can be enough. I believe weed settles down after 4 or more weeks being dried compared to the fresher nugs. Not all weed has that same effect on me. I sometimes don't want to be too high depending on what needs to get done that day.
When and if I do a dab, it really sends me to outer space. I feel like I am too high and cannot relax enough especially off sour D. wow.
I was so high one time off a dab of Sour D I needed to pass out on a couch for a few hours. I was stupid high off that one dab.
I have had the same effect from eating just a half of a chebba chew. I was completely f'd up from eating just a half.
So it all depends on your body and how it effects you. I just smoked one hit of green crack clone only and feel great. Not to high, so I could smoke alot more, but feeling good.

DUDE!!!!!! I just picked up this shit today that fucked me up so bad I almost threw up after just half a blunt. I haven't had weed do me like that...I can't remember, maybe not ever?
I finally came down before too long ago. Now I've just fired up my bowl and am feeling sweet. Nice and slow for Rosey this time LOL
