what do you mean cut off suckers..

and joe when we gonna see some pics!
Cutting "suckers" means to completely remove any branch/nodes that arent receiving much light. They are called "suckers" because they steal growth from your main colas. All you would like is the parts of the plant actually receiving light, to bud and grow. That alone will help maximize yield

well sure I should say I did trim alot, my top colas were definitely plump etc, I took off all small branches maybe 1/3rd of the plant off in week one of flower, and left maybe 7-9 main branches, etc.
That's good. Maybe you need to look into a new grow technique. Try maximize your canopy and keep it level so all main colas get the most growth possible. I personally dont like scrog because if you ever run into a problem, it spreads very quickly through your garden. Also, don't be afraid to LST even early on. I LST as early as just planted from rooted clone. Your goal is create the largest number of "main" colas possible

It doesnt take 15 days to get into flowering ... more like 3-7 days
Some pics would be helpful!
Canopy control is very important as well clearing up the bottom 1/3 to 1/2 to get rid of bud sites that arent gonna get enough light.
If your top is 4.5 ft and the canopy is not full then your light will be a foot away from the top but 3 ft from the lower branches
It can take as long as 15 days but 7 is normal and yes a long veged plant can start in 3.

Those flowering times are confusing... why cant they just have a finish time..

I could cut some mature bud off and use that while waiting for rest of plant I suppose.
yes u can but rest usually aint worth tying up flower room chop and throw a new batch in the mix
but do u have a scope to check trics that when u know its ready
