what about cooking time? my damn scale broke so i had to guess everything out .so if anything there was little more than a quarter and an eigth

I add water like I've said and I like to simmer it for a few hours or so.

You might be able to make yourself a "ghetto" scale using a piece of hanger, string, a couple of baggies and nickels and dimes (U.S. nickel weighs 5g, dime weighs 1g).

The water also removes plant flavor, like water curing.

This explains the difference in our strength - I eat WAY more than a teaspoon of butter at a time - in, say, cookies. A teaspoon is nothing!

God... I do SO hope my males will give me something to work with. I couldn't sleep again last night and I'm becoming completely wiped, yet can't sleep.

no dogs in Yosemite if I remember correctly, so we won't be going there. not to mention the tourists and alcohol ban. i pack a nalgene flask, no matter what they say! I may take you up on that!

I'm just starting to get her geared up. Got her some warm booties for the tent, a headlamp, and a nice thermarest, but she still needs a bag. Once I start getting grown-up paychecks in a month, i may even spring for a doggie tent. I keep trying to tell her that Olive can't fit in a two-person ultralight tent with us, but does she believe me? You guess ....

Before you say bs at least know what you are saying.... Ive a good friend that cooks with canna for med patients and they did plenty of tests from hospital labs ect and at the 3 hour mark a bit give or take there is zero THC left in the buds So yea there is sort of a magic no. roughly , There is people that simmer there weed and butter over night thinking they get more over 3 -4 hours is a waist of electric 2g of bud for every 100g of butter keep it easy

That's a lot of butter.

Depending on grade - mid grade about 8 grams per 4 ounces of butter - high grade 4 grams per 4 ounces - low grade 14 grams per 4 ounces - maybe that is just me and depending on metabolism it can take up to an hour to run through your system.

I never said 90 min took it all out, but it takes out plenty. I do know that. My butter is plenty potent.

I no you dident you quoted me saying bullshit about the 3 hour mark when Saying bullshit acting the Ganja cookie monster .. When i was only trying to sort the brother out ........... 90mins will be sweet ! But at the 3-4 mark there is zero thc so really your wasting some thc at 90mins ..

without going back - because i'm lazy - i interpreted what was said as "three hours is necessary". If someone has weak butter at 90 minutes, I highly doubt that at 3 hours it will be strong. I'm sure after the first hour or so you don't get much more out.

The 3-4 hour mark is what results the labs came up with less was not 100% extraction over 4 hours was a waist of electric .....
But hey if your happy with 90 mins carry on I sure it will get you buzzin . Just have your facts right before jjumping inn claiming bullshit. That attitude dont help no 1 with the cooking it just causes girly fights

ok, i went back. You said 90 minutes is not enough, and 3 hours is when "it all kicks in", and "always at least 3 hours". I stand by calling bullshit on that statement, becauise I know it does not take 3 hours to make good butter. So no, I did not jump in where I didn't know what I was talking about. Now drop it.
