walt the sociopath fun fun. Yeah jesse's girlfriend was cute in a I have a eating disorder kinda way, I would prefer a women with meat on her bones like walts wife but without the im a whore let me fuck my ex boss and give him 600k to bailout his fraud of a business. I woulda snapped lol!
She did not just give him the money, he was doing the shady shit without her knowledge (much like Walt) and her name was on a shit ton of paperwork. She did it to save her and Walt's proverbial asses! Although she is a bitch for cheating.

One more thing, I have never been on a fansite, or discussed the characters in a show as though they were real. Damn good show if I find myself doing it now.

I think I've said this before though. I have a hard time believing that only a few percentage points at the very top end of a pure product would actually make such a difference in the effects of the chemical- (What did Gale say about Heisenburg's concoction's purity? 97 percent or something like that?) Where Gale couldn't manage to get above 95?? I can't see meth purity turning it into something completely different - as Gus describes when he sought support from the Mexican cartel. Beyond that, anything that pure is bound to be stepped on at least once or twice so down the line it the potency would have been leveled to the quality of all of the rest and the guys at the top would have pocketed the difference, most users not even noticing.

but, I don't know if Gilligan had many advisors who were ever in the trade at multiple levels of distributorship.
exactly, because what would you charge when street level is at 75%? what meth addict could afford 97%? the boost in purity would just bring in more players..

I remember not watching this for one reason or another. I didn't watch one second until after the 4th season.

Once I watched the first episode, I was caught up in 9 days.

I hope EVERYONE dies...except Walt.bongsmilie

It does make a difference as he is not making it for street level.
well according to walts "the 97% pure better product" speech..it was how he sold the idea to those guys in the desert who wanted the methlamine..remember he threw the bag of blue rock on the sand? kept asking the dude to "say my name"..it would be silly to put out 97% when your competitors are only 75%..

Except for the fact that it would crush your competitors and make you KING.
Well, Kelly beat me to it! That's like saying, "Why grow kind bud when they sell brick weed on the streets".

Just starting into season 5. I was a soprano's, the wire, and other series watcher, then mr.e duck here said if you haven't seen breaking bad you'd better go watch or else! I agreed and haven't looked back since. I would just like to say that whomever mentioned the portapotty scene with jesse becoming blue, that has to be one of the funniest scenes in this whole series imho. Also if anyone wants to catch up quickly I found this link to a site that has all the seasons available for your viewing pleasure. http://www.zzstream.li/2012/09/breaking-bad-2x01.html
