Odd issue after going on vacation for a week

Hello, I went on vacation for a week and had someone watering my plants, they are still in veg and when I came back all the tops have deformed new growth and some are yellowing from the top. Whats going on here? Coco mixed w soil.

Its possible, I entrusted a friend and he mentioned its been really sunny the past few days so perhaps he didnt water them as much as he should have, will the tops recover? All of them pretty much look like this and I was planning on flipping to 12/12 soon. Better wait for new growth to be normal again.

Wait until they’re normal as much as possible and then flip. They should be fine.

I was going to say, looks like maybe a light was right on top of it for a bit. Maybe they forgot to turn on light so they moved it super close to try to compensate because they have no clue?

Dont think so, the way the light is setup does not allow mistakes, its pretty far from them and I have two plants looking like this. Im thinking possible nutrient burn/lock out??

I'd say do a quick slurry ph check on the soil. Like he watered with straight acid or bleach....obviously something he did because its only new growth. Might have to flush real well. Slurry check will tell you a lot

have they put someting weird in the water? I've not seen that before... but it doesn't look like light burn.

Test the water, (PH & EC) but a good flush is my best suggestion, it looks really freaking wierd.
