She apologized to the people she offended. A group that does not include you. It's up to the people of the Cherokee nation to decide whether or not that was enough. I also agree that her obvious lack of understanding about the issue is disturbing. But did she offend you? She didn't offend me. For myself, I'm filing this away and willing to listen to what Native American people say about her but there is a whole lot more to Elizabeth Warren's record than this.

What I'm asking you is, do you want Republican propaganda to decide who the next Democratic Presidential candidate should be or do you want to choose? If this is the most important issue to you then I don't understand but I can accept that. To me, I will decide according to her record of accomplishment -- which is substantial -- and her ability to work well with others. If she continues to make gaffes like this, then I agree, we don't need another mistake making clown in the WH and will pick somebody else. I simply don't see this as the key issue that decides me against Warren. Do you?

I'm actually more disposed toward Warren now because the Republican and far Democratic Left are resorting to this kind of stuff rather than run against her record. We shouldn't let political character assassination win the day -- as we have been doing for too long.

Half true. What you said about Warren is half true. What's said about Cortez is half true. Propaganda uses half truths to spin and influence not outright lies or it wouldn't work so well.

I ask you again. Did Warren insult you? She apologized and it's now up the the leaders of the Cherokee Nation to give their response. Thus far, not much said. Is all of that more important than her record? She has a whopping good resume. Yet Trump talks about Pocahontas and even you, who isn't a right winger is influenced. Propaganda is effective or it wouldn't be used.

Tell me, where are all these character assassinations coming from? When I see my leaders assassinated I start looking for who will benefit. It isn't Democrats.

Quick question....are you concerned for the other real minorities that were past up for her advancements that were based on her whopper?
Minority equality is supposed to be a cornerstone of the democratic platform....do you see any hypocricy there?

No, it's completely true. Let's review:
  • Harvard Law School in the 1990s touted Warren, then a professor in Cambridge, as being "Native American."
  • Warren later acknowledged, because she had listed herself as a minority in an Association of American Law Schools directory. Critics note that she had not done that in her student applications and during her time as a teacher at the University of Texas.
  • while Warren was at U. Penn. Law School she put herself on the “Minority Law Teacher” list as Native American) in the faculty directory of the Association of American Law Schools
  • Brown told WCVB in Boston that he didn't condone their actions, but said "the real offense is that (Warren) said she was white and then checked the box saying she is Native American, and then she changed her profile in the law directory once she made her tenure."
  • Warren has long said that she is pointing to "family stories" passed down to her through generations as evidence.
  • In February 2019 the Washington Post surfaced Warren’s 1986 registration card for the State Bar of Texas, on which she identified her race as “American Indian.”
And when her DNA test came back, this was the result:
  • "While the vast majority of the individual's ancestry is European," he concluded of Warren, "the results strongly support the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor in the individual's pedigree, likely in the range of 6-10 generations ago."
Everything I stated about her is spot on, exactly, irrefutably the truth.

She has claimed all through her career when it suited her that she was native American. At best, the only tinge of native American blood she has in her came from somewhere around 200 to 250 years ago.

So, again, an Indian Motorcycle has a closer link to Native Americans than she does. It was all bullshit.

That's why her allies kept telling her to shut up about it and let it go, but she simply wouldn't. She hung on to it like a child to a dropped ice cream cone that's covered in dirt.

That removes her from me considering her for president. Completely.

do you really think her checking "american indian" on a college admission form is the same as trump telling endless lies daily? making up reality so it fits his version of "facts"....you HAVE to keep hammering at this single point, because it's all you have to hammer at....while we have so many targets, it's difficult to stay focused on a single one....
