Why would he go with a committee when he had the perfectly legal option of a recess appointment? That's just silly.

How about because he campaigned on how he was going to work with republicans not by pass congress? But I'm glad he did it - he's going to lose more as a result of his heavy-handedness than he will gain.

That's ridiculous. A committee would have been one way Obama could have gotten it done, but he was too stubborn. Republicans even made suggestions of who they would have approved but they were ignored. Hey, it's fine with me. Politically Obama is losing on this.
apparently, you have no idea how legislation works.

congress put in a head, not a committee. has nothing to do with your false talking point bout obama being "stubborn". he did not write the law, he can not modify it. only congress can :dunce:

i don't see how obama is losing on this, especially when i watch scott brown cling to his nutsack on this issue in fight for his political life against warren.

You're the one who brought up electability in THIS thread. Now you can't even show us which states you say Obama can win.

  • we will all remember this when the democrats don't like President Romney's nominations

as you can see above, you were the first one to comment on the electability of willard.

go here "270towin.com"

obama can lose NC, VA, OH, IN, NH, IA, NV, NM, and CO and still win.

there are tons of permutations in which he still wins easily, even without florida.

but that is another thread.

what is the point of trying to work with republicans who stick their fingers in their ears and stomp their feet about implementing a law that was already passed?

like i said, they have the option to introduce legislation to alter existing law if they want, but they won't do it. boo fucking hoo.

cry me a fucking river.

Waa Waa ...poor little Obama haters...

"Haters," or just hater is currently one of the most overused and abused words in the language. What you define as "haters" are in reality extremely concerned American citizens who expect far better out of their president than less than mediocrity at best and at normal to worst, at times witnessing horrifying ineptitude. They know that a change of presidents is of the highest possible priority for the nation.

That doesn't make them; "haters." That makes them more intelligent and more logical and more rational than those saying, 'four more years.'

i can't tell if you are a liar or simply a partisan hack. or both.

http://realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_obama_job_approval-1044.html

you would have to go back over 2 months to find a poll that has him at 42%, and you'd see that said poll came from fox news.

and we all know fox news is "fair and balanced". about as "fair and balanced" as your talking points seem to be.

Well, if you go back 3 months ago, gallup had him a 38%. Gallup ain't Fox News. Just sayin.

Once the unemployment numbers come in with all the seasonal help having been let go, I'm sure he will drop from his stellar 46% back down to around 40-42%. Still making Carter look like a rockstar.

When I was oh so vocal about Bush's "power grab" I was called a hater, does this mean that I was really an intelligent and logical and rational person?

All the Republicans have to do is roll tape of him before his presidency, all the promises etc... then show the results.
All Dems have to do is roll tape of Romney and recount his prior actions and statements.

See, even you like to misrepresent the truth.

1. he hired a lawncare company that used illegals. He told them he didnt want illegals. When it was found out they were using illegals he fired them.

And if the dog was in an air tight kennel how did the shit roll down the windows?

See? You obfuscate the truth just as much as anyone else does. *golfclaps*

you'll have to ask romney about the "air tight" kennel, his words, not mine. see the video.

and i don't give a shit about the lawn care company, the funny part is where he says he can't have that because "i'm running for office for pete's sake!". i just LOL at that.

just like the ad asked: "imagine what obama would do with a candidate like that"

i make no predictions besides that hilarity will ensue :D

The immigration issue has been fucked up long before Carter was even in office.

It is sad that the Obama administrations efforts seem to be focused on suing states like Arizona instead of fixing the fundamental problems with the system.

It isnt Obama's fault but he sure isnt making it any better.

of the candidates only Ron Paul stands a chance at beating Obama. Liberals will never vote for Romney/Newt/Perry/Santorum...but they will vote for Ron Paul..

Sincerely,

A liberal that is voting for Dr Paul
