Included in the bill is a rider that eliminates private student loans. After this bill goes into effect, the only student loan lender will be the federal government. Do you guys remember during the campaign when Obama talked about a voluntary citizen army the size of our existing military? Well, here you have it. Want a student loan? Well, agree to volunteer your time for a couple of years as part of paying off the loan. Millions of community organizers on the horizon from now 'till Kingdom come. Do you guys remember when Obama gave that speech in Berlin in front of 200,000 adoring Germans? He said: "The individual is going to have to learn to sacrifice for the good of the community." Hitler Youth, anyone?

What is actually so rip-roaring funny is the reason why the Senate Bill was not approved by the House in the First Place. The House Democrats on the Far Left hated it.

Now, three months later they approve The Senate Bill with vague promises of a nebulous 'fix it' bill. LOL!

But that's not all! This 'fix-it' bill the Leadership has promised is dead in the water. Apparently, there is a massive Point of Order that the Democratic leadership has been slow to mention to the rank and file prior to the vote.

So now after the bill becomes law, not only will Democrats be forced to sell Messiahcare to angry voters, but they very well could be confronted by an angry Democratic constituency who was sold a bill of goods.

And one more thing. If this was true health care reform, why was not medical cannabis included?

The Republicans were not going it vote for it anyway, this was a golden opportunity for Democrats to show they are serious about medical cannabis.

Note that most health problems in this country can be fixed with a lifestyle change, Obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease represent a huge portion of costs. Some people are predisposed to genetic health problems and I'm not referring to them.

The only healthcare we need is to improve peoples health through healthier living. everyone will die the best and most cost effective solution is to try and have people as healthy as they can be untill they get sick and die. no insurance or healthcare or pill or doctor is going to make a 55 year old fat lazy smoker who drinks and eats ding dongs and drives instead of walking healthy. their selling us the fountian of youth. do you think your insurance should pay for viagra? all their meds have side effects that require more meds and more doctor visits. why is corn suryup in everything? cant we drink H2O? hey cant you ferment corn and run a car or powerplant on alcohol? kind of funny to me the idea of the government subsidising and industry to make us fat and sick and another to make us healthy....i guess theyll have plenty of buisness

^^^^ You know what really pisses me off? Processed foods contain "artificial lemon flavor" and our cleaning products contain "real lemon." Now figure that one out. There's a conspiracy afoot, I tells ya! :lol:
