national security: I believe we should only get involved in conflicts abroad when our national security is truly at stake, yes Bush and Obama and most every other president acts like the US is the world police.

Abortion: Women should be free to make their own choice, taxpayers should also have a choice whether they want to pay for it or not, so i'm all for voluntary charity but not having government force me to pay for it.
Gay marriage: The choice of marriage should be left to two consenting adults, government has no business being involved in marriage. Also, ministers, bishops etc. should also have the choice to marry a gay couple or not.
I'm for a balanced budget, I'm against social welfare programs except for those who really need and deserve it.

The Democrats just got voted out of the senate. It shows people still give a fuck. However, Washington isnt offering many stellar choices on either side of the political aisle and both sides are now firmly for big government and simply worried about fighting over who gets to waste most of the money.
