Obama - your racism is showing.

Has anyone noticed the disproportionate number of Blacks Obama is appointing to top positions?

Does anyone find it odd that with college educated Blacks making up such a minute percentage of Americans, Obama is appointing so many?

Let me get the list started.

In the past week alone, we've heard of at least six African Americans who will join his new team, including Eric Holder, who will become the nation's first African American Attorney General.
In addition to Holder, Obama selected Valerie Jarrett to be his White House senior advisor, Melody Barnes to lead his Domestic Policy Council, Patrick Gaspard
to be his political director, Desirée Rogers to become White House Social Secretary and Rob Nabors to be Deputy OMB Director.

Then there is Van Jones who was to be Obama's green jobs Czar and Erroll Southers, Obama's pick to head the TSA.

Feel free to add to the list.

What I want to know is, what ever happened to our post racial, color blind society and why is such blatant racism OK as long as Whites are the ones being discriminated against?

Maybe no whites are willing to work for him.

get over your whiteness, and understand that just because there is someone other than a white man in office we are still America. Just not YOUR white America. we need to represent what our country stands for, and dont we stand for diversity? arent we a melting pot? dont we learn from each other even though we may look different? most do, and thats why Obama is in office.

Blacks make up 12% of the population. If we look at Blacks who have advanced degrees and have achieved a level of success commensurate with being appointed to high level Government positions that percentage drops radically. I'd guess they would be <1% compared to their white counterparts. That means less than 1 qualified black candidate for every 100 qualified Whites. That isn't my opinion; that's just how it is - sad but true.

Although there are some Blacks qualified, finding them among equally or more qualified white candidates is like finding the proverbial needle in a hay stack. Yet, Obama seems to manage to find that needle often enough to demonstrate that he must be looking for it very, very hard.

This is racism pure and simple. If you agree with it, either you are a racist yourself, or you are a sheep that toes the party line without any consideration of facts.

Contrary to what many of you believe, there is no acceptable double standard for racism based on which group is the beneficiary. Anyone who actually takes a moment to contemplate the truths of this issue will come to this conclusion. But as usual that is not what most of you do. No, most of you will not give the nuances of such an issue a moments thought. You have been told what the right way to think is and no intellectual inquiry or critical reasoning is necessary.

Maybe you will all get lucky and Kawame Kilpatric will run in 2012.

Jesus christ, why not just go with the most obvious conclusion?

That coming up other people of race were more willing to accept him.

And because of that he got to meet the larger community, and in that he met more and more very qualified and intelligent people of many different races.

So answer this, why is the pic I posted almost exclusively white people? Do you know the proportion of white people to other races that he has appointed?

Could there not have been a stockpile of racial talent that has not been tapped over the years?
