Do you know how many Blacks even graduate from college with advanced degrees? Today, more and more are and affirmative action plays a large roll - I know because I went to school with them. But these guys are in their 40s and 50s. How many Blacks do you honestly think received advanced degrees prior to the 80s? How many went on to accomplish great things that would make them eligible for such positions?

I'm not saying there are not any to be found - I'm saying that Obama is recruiting them in numbers that are way disproportionate to our population. Even a blind retard can see how obvious this is.

BTW, I think the high school graduation rate in Detroit which is over 80% black is around 30% - do the math Copernicus.

Like I said, for every Black qualified for these positions, there has to be at least 100 Whites according to the statistics. Obama is clearly overlooking the qualified white candidates in favor of the black ones.

So there was about 220million people in the US at this time. And if you figure there was not as many foreigners in the us at that time, black people would have been a slightly higher percentage, but we will just use 10% to lowball the amount of black people with 4 years or more of college.

So: 220, million people x 10% is approximately 22 million black people.
22million black people x 9% of them that had 4+ years of college is approximately 1,980,000.

So your saying that there was not enough talent in those 2 million people to find some good cabinet spots, remember this was data from 1979, so you should also know that there would be far more today.

Obviously you did not go to college. Have you heard of the landmark discrimination case against U of M? Colleges absolutely do give prefference to certain minority applicants. In fact, they reserve seats for them. And they do have special class' for minorities designed to inflate their grades and to advance them under the table - I know because I've seen it with my own eyes.

Assuming your data is correct, lets calculate the numbers for non-Blacks.

220,000,000 X .9 = 19,800,000

19,800,000 X .19 = 37,620,000

37,620,000 / 1,980,000 = 19

So, there are 19 non-black graduates for every black one.

Now, take those numbers and look at how many receive advanced degrees such as a Masters or a PhD and I'd bet the gap widens a lot further.

Then look at how many Blacks are hired into high, prestigious positions and the gap widens even further.

Then, when the smoke clears consider that your original data deals with only a given age group. obviously not everyone alive is included in college graduation statistics at a given time.

When you get to the end, the number of Qualified Blacks is down to literally a tiny handful.

But lets be honest. Most of the people posting in this thread know the facts of the matter and know that Obama is clearly giving preference to Black candidates. The fact is, most of them (you) simply condone the practice because they (you) have been programed to think it is the right thing to do.

Why not just be honest about it and say that you condone the practice because you feel that Blacks have historically been locked out of these top positions and you think Obama is simply leveling the playing field.

The difficulty you are having admitting this obvious truth is called cognitive dissonance - Google it.

Dead wrong. To be sure, there are professors that do not give preference but many do. like I said, I have seen it with my own eyes. Do they have official minority grading scales - no. But you have your head up your ass if you don't think minorities get an extra leg up from their ultra Liberal professors.
