in 2008,*129446839 people voted (for obama and mccain, all other votes might as well be donald duck and not count).

that's 210 million, which is a lowball since that only takes obama/mccain voters in 2008 into account.

What??? You think we are all adult? About 1/3 childern that are not yet franchised. 100 million or so are not eligible to vote, this year.

Another thing weird about foreign logic is the idea that everyone should vote or it doesn't count. Voter turnout is meaningless in all Counties.

We are Free not to vote. And if 1/2 don't care that is a good thing. Calm and stable. If we get big issues, we get big turnouts. No big issues lately. We are fine.

So, I just don't get all the rock throwing. This is self rule under massive freedom. As I said it is entirely possible to ignore all of it. And all are free to do so. About a rolling 1/2 take part and basically Proxy in the next set for the ones that don't care.
