I am running the following nutrient solution, about two tablespoons black strap molasses(feeding the mycos), 4g Megacrop 1 part nutrient, and 1/2 ounce Safer Gro Humax Liquid humic Acid in One gallon of water. Media is peat, coco coir and Vermuclite. Strain is Mexican Red Hair Sativa Autoflower Fem. Plant is growing well and for the most part, at least to my eyes looks healthy, But I am noticing that a couple of the stems are turning a redish color. I googled this and it says Magnesium deficiencies cause this, the problem I have with this is that both the Megacrop AND the Black Strap molasses contain Magnesium so I do not get how I can be deficent? Black Strap molasses alone contains 17% Magnesium per serving.
Is it possible that this plant is just a very heavy feeder and I just need to increase the nutrient load? I am running about 900ppm and the pH of the water going in is 5.8.
Or is it possible that the stems turning red is just natrually part of the appearence in this strain?
As you can see its not ALL of the stems which also perplexes me. Im not worried or freaking out, just curious. Not worried cause its growing like crazy I can notice visual size difference day to day.
