Platinum Bubba Kush. This one looks like its real close to being done.





SFV OG (by far the most frosty and dense of them all, but the smallest)












The mystery minis (12/12 from clone). Both of them look very similar so most likely both the same. Kinda look like the SFV but don't really smell like it so might be the Madman OG.







Here's a couple shots I took of the SFV OG I got from my local club. Looks, smells, smokes and tastes great. This is the first time iive ever tried it. Smells identical to my lady also! Got some Diesel Dream (sour diesel x blue dream), super dank also, forgot to take a pic so I willl tonight. I didn't notice any sour diesel in it expect for the taste, it looked and smelled just like regular blue dream to me.

I also met the main grower for the dispensary and checked out there lil set up inside the club. He's got some very good strains im interested in and im gonna definetly get a batch of Herojuwana (or however u spell it) because it is one of the best buds I've ever smoked and is in very high demand. He said it is quite a pain to grow but he would help me out week by week cuz hes got the strain figured out.







About the camera. My gf already gave me her old digital cam (8 megapix I think) so I got somethin to take ok pics with. Im just waiting on her to get her fancy camera so I can take dope close ups with the manual zoom! If I ever do by a camera im gonna invest atleast 400 and get a DSLR. Don't really wanna spend a 100 on some regular digital cam. Ive been looking at cameras for the past week and after seeing how much of a difference there is between a point n shoot digital and DSLR, I definetly wouldn't waste my money on a point n shoot.

Just went and burned a bowl at work so snapped a quick pic of the diesel dream. Very very tasty and good indica high but a lil harsh.

yummy, looks great. the burns look bad but they will probably be good smoke regardless.

do you have bluetooh in your computer? you go to the search if you're on windows and type bluetooth, then the little blue icon with the 2 points shows up and you click it and say add device. then u put your phone innto discovery mode. usually it asks for a code but you can put 1234 unless it tells you the code to use on the phone screen. then after you get the connection once, you are always able to connect without all the setting up. you probably go to a pic on your phone and just say "send by bluetooth" or something similar

Im not sure if my comp has bluetooth but I will check when I get home. I have a brand new toshiba satellite so im sure it has it. Thanks for the info

I think the PB should be done within 2 weeks. The rest will probably be an extra week or 2. The pre98 is the biggest but the least developed and flower time for is 9-10 weeks from what I've heard so could be another 4 weeks. The minis I might also let flower for few more weeks atleast cuz I want to get em as big as possible. Im gonna harvest a plant at a time so not gonna be in a rush or anthing to chop it down. Our collective harvest is gonna be in a week so ill have plenty of smoke also to last me till these ladies are read.

Cheesy: im not getting a fancy camera, just my gfs old point n shoot (8 mpx). She is getting a fancyy one for herself but I will be able to use it any time so pretty much mine haha. Eventually I will by myself a nice DSLR or HD cam corder to film my snowboarding.

all the new growth on the ladies is very green and healthy looking thank god. One of the platinum bubbas went thru some serious yellowing and like every big fan leaf turned yellow. Not much I can reallydo tho but ride it out.

So im about to take care of the gnats for good (hopefully). I haven't seen any live ones since my lil spinosad/neem dip for the hydroton but wanna make sure to get everything.

So I've been soaking a crushed mosquito dunk in a stocking in 5 gallon bucket of phed water over night. Gonna dip the whole pot into the solution to give everything a good soaking. I've read this is the best way to take care of many different bugs and everyone that has done has had great results.

I also tried putting stockings over the pots to keep them from goin into the hydroton thru the drain hole but the pots were too damn big. I bought the biigest panty hose I could find too (I think) but they are just to small. I was thinkin maybe cutting it up and duct taping it over all the holes. Any thoughts on this anyone?

i don't know if it will work because they live and breed in the soil and they are already there. it's worth a try though. i think you have to let the plant dry out for a long time to get rid of them. mine went away when i put my plant back outside and she went into veg. this time, no gnats and she's been outside the whole time. do you have good venting? maybe colder temperature would ge rid of them

good luck with the mosquito dunks, i havent had too much success with keeping gnats out of the soil, although i didnt go with that method...i crushed the mosquito dunks and left them in 5gal bucket with water and a couple airstones...the mosquitos died but the population kept building and building.....i even had mosquito gnats walking all over the diatomaceous earth with no problem.....im now trying out go gnats.....oh yeah and they are now immune to azamax

From what I've read on the other forums people have had good sucess but well see. I let the soil dry out twice already (2 full dry days before the soak). I haven't seen any flying around for the past couple days so im sure the neem/spinosad dip killed a lot of them in the hydroton. The most I've seen at once is two on one pot so don't think it reallly got to outa hand.

Yes I do have good ventilation but during lights out I only run fan for 15 min/ per hour so I could run itt constantly but its annoying and runs up the bill.

Kush groove sounds like u got a battle on ur hands like me haha. Everyone I know here in socal has had gnats one time or another so its just a never ending war.

If you are running hydro, put some SM-90 in your res, and i guarantee gnats will be bu bye

Nope no hydro in my closet. Just hand water. Run hydro drip into coco/soil/perlite at the big op bbut no bug problems there.

Haven't seen any gnats past few days so that's good.

The platinum bubba ttops are lookin real close to being finished. I was thinking of choping of one top to sample to see how I like the high because I am more of sativa/hybrid smoker, only smoke indicas before bed so I don't want to get too much couch lock.. most of the hairs have turned reddish brown and have started to receed so im sure its close. Trichomes were all clear last time I checked. Will check again tonight.

I was reading a thread on here earlier about not being able to accuratly judge harvest time by checking trichome color since some strains will stay clear forever and others start milky. I have done it both ways in the past and all the strains I have grown have turned amber or milky or both but not all strains changed pistil colors. Not saying that's not true or anythng, just haven't seen it myself yet.

Cheesy: do u have any idea about trichomes with any of my strains? Do some stay clear, turn amber and so forth? Or

This coming Monday will be start of there 7th week of actual flowering and 8th of 12/12

Ok so I decided to chop down a sample bud from the platinum bubba today. Checked it under the microscope and id say attleast 40% of trichs are orange and most are milky. So I began flushing last night. (Wish I started flushin last week).

The nug weighed about 13 grams wet so hoping for like 3-4 gs dried. Its rock solid




So I will probably pull the top half of both platinum bubbas by end of the week, maybe longer becase I want them to get a good flush, but don't wanna let em go to long.

The other strains are gonna be atleast another week or 2 So I will probably feed them twice more and then start the flush.
