Vortex....4 days dried......

that is the real deal nugs....i cant wait to show off my keeper females...pistils on 3 out of four....i am getting better at sexing within 5-7 days....the female preflower are more like a tear drop...so sexy

Nice Nugs... I don't have space for another strain at the moment... But I am absolutely dying to get some Vortex going after seeing your fruits. That means I have to cut something out of my garden! What to do, what to do.....

Good News And Bad News

10.5 on the Vortex mod scrog.....zip/gal reached with my vorti......bad news.....both my vorti clones did not make it....first time in about a year that i lost a clone....no more Vorti#1.......but i do have a fresh 10 pack, so i may be doing a vorti pheno hunt this winter....like KK42 says....everything happens for a reason...and i will add..."the only thing we can count on as a certainty in this life is.......wait for it......CHANGE!

I'm doing weird things with my trimmings. I've let them dry and ground them up and put them in with my coffee. I'm not sure what will happen. Probably nothing. But it's a fun idea and it makes my tongue taste like pot.

I get emotional when I medicate.

On a more positive note. I see a root on my first batch of clones and I'm stoked that @ least one took. I hope the rest pop soon. This cricket got into my clone box and he was munching on the Rapid Rooter. I hope he wasn't munchin on roots. LOL You guys have heard of AirPruning! Well I got Cricket Pruning!!!!

Actually made a visit to my outdoor spot today; wish I'd come across your Mainlining thread earlier when I started them indoors.
Sucks about your clones, but then again you may find something in that bag even more spectacular!

Lab Notes
.....you can be really radical with your main-lining....note how many secondary stems were removed to stretch her out to establish the foundation i desired....but also notice how i still chose symetrical nodes, and twisted them so they were parrallel with the ground, and all 16 heads started off on the same level........as you can see, it worked wonderfully, and now she is one of my favorite plants.

They stay twisted? I need to do so!!

Super bummer about loosing your Vortex clones man! She was a real beauty. But, as you said, you may find an even better one in your 10 pack. And just a SUPER rad example of mainlining brother! that is how you build a killer plant.

My mainlining experiance is turning out to be a very informative experiance and I'm glad to have had it. It's scary @ times though... I guess where the knuckle grows @ a bend (mine split there vertically) is turning brown. I hope that is normal and not the fungi. I guess I'm just voicing my concern. I don't have a camera or a phone that takes pictures!

yeah bro, it was meant to be.....she yielded enough for me to put up my OWN stash.....what a gift!......now i have her to inspire me forward into the unknown....i have about 20 strains in bean form, jockying for position....now the only clones i have left is fruity pebbles (who is my new breeder), and my one and only CQ (yet to flower).......i have Vortex x ACE F-1's that i plan to crack this winter to find both a new mom, and a breeder male to BX to my F.P. cut........open horizon man, feels really nice....

i want to try some S1's and pure landraces. plus there are private breeders that are doing some sick shit. i want like 20x20 for testing and males.

excited to see new stuff from the lab!

That would be a lot of fun! Someday I hope to have the time to experiment on a scale like that.

well, i have just mixed up my SS with sativas in mind, and as my modest sun grow may quench the indica thirst, thats probably what i will do.......right now i am leaning towards Chern, Space Jill, and Qleaner.....but they change weekly......i want to breed Space Jill with Fruity pebbles in hopes to add some more frost, and make her buzz not so couch-locky.....i think some more cherry will only inhance the blackberry/cherry soda.....i have also learned that an influx of genes are on the way, from your hood, so we will see what we get before we get too serious......
