well it fucking happened today. they threw out the federal case about our MMJ program. we need to make our voices heard that we should be able to self cultivate our medicine if we want.

That really sucks. As patients though one option we have, if some absolute piece of shit greedy profiteering scumbag, opens a dispensary, is to try to get their liscense revoked. They are knowingly going to cause every patient cultivating their own to face felony cultivation charges if they are allowed to stay in business. I reccomend doing whatever it takes to cause them to break the law and get shut down. That way then they wont be around in 25 miles of us.

Regardless we all need to come together as a Whole..

The whole is greater than the sum of all parts?

The parts are greater than the sum of the whole?

Either way...
Working together is critical...

Possible Loophole:

Under the law, out of state patients have the same rights as in state cardholders, with the exception that they won't be allowed in dispensaries. Hypothetically, if I don't renew my AZ card when it expires, would my Cali card cover my growing rights? Based on not being subject to the dispensary rule as an out of state, visiting medical patient? I am just here for school then will boogy out. Though my family lives in Tucson, and wouldn't mind making a home down there, if the laws wouldn't criminalize my health issues.

Simple... You are a resident of Arizona and would have to follow Az statues... Even if you have an CALI card does not allow you to grow in other states... But if you look hard enough into any statue you can find a loophole!

Its not what you know it is what you can prove!!!

I wish I was a resident of Arizona, the disparity between in state and out of state tuition is insane, even with the Western Undergraduate Exchange, which meets the tuition prices half way between in/out of state rates. I am a Cali resident with a Cali drivers license, Cali phone number, pay Cali taxes. Just got an AZ ID card to get my Got to start looking into Cali schools, I would save money. I chose NAU because I was a Forestry major here back in the day, but flunked out my first semester. Came back to make that right, since my GPA was way to low. Decided to go back to school after getting laid off from a dead end job driving busses. Not to diss bus drivers, but my company wasn't unionized and the pay sucked. I probably could have got into a Cali school though based on the fact that I took 14 years off. Now I hat tricked the Deans list here at NAU. Shit Cali would probably give me scholarships to go to any school there. I wish there was a University somewhere on the east side of the Sierra Nevada, like around Mammoth Lakes or Bishop, but there isn't, only community colleges. I don't want to end up in a big city, but they do have their advantages, like cheaper everything.

I really like that there is no state card in Cali. Everything is between you and your doctor. Twice in the law it says that Cali can't maintain a registry of patients. Unlike AZ where they know who you are and where you grow. Plus right on my Cali rec the Dr. wrote that I can grow no more then 99 plants, and possess no more then 2 pounds. Now that is what I call Compassionate Care.

What I hope would be done is to allow us to grow (delete 25 mile rule). Therefore, those who frequent expensaries most likely will either not want to grow and have lots of income or both. The people who are in greatest financial need could grow their own. The only problem I see is that people will still want to exchange underground which may breed or keep the lot in place that supplies the patients currently. They will most likely abuse even the setup I proposed. But it is still better than forcing me OUT of this medicine market. There will be so many thousands that will avoid the expensaries and go underground because the rates are simply not affordable. Their intent is to dry up the supply (you and me) to force the price to whatever they choose. One other issue, remember there is an illicit demand in this community, people who are frauds who hide behind "disabilities" but are in this for recreation only. They force up the demand for the products costing a "high" price for the real patients. Again, the patient is fucked here the way the law is setup. From the Arizona dummies in office who have run and continue to run this state in the toilet, deception and manipulation is their game. The expensary people really are the 1 percenters and have FIXED the system to their pocketbooks.

No, you need to be a resident to request authorization to cultivate. It's in the AZDHS rules (not the law). you also have to be an AZ resident for 3 or 5 years to be a dispensary owner.

Make sure Ron Paul gets elected then we would not have to worry as much. Obama/Sorento or whatever the hell his real name is only lies to get elected. It is unconstitutional to make someone buy something from a monopoly last time I looked. The initiative on face value is unconstitutional and that is what needs to be addressed. Your elected officials have the power to write the laws that interpret the initiative. They could disregard the parts that are unconstitutional.

Any lawyers out there? What needs to be started to get things rolling in favor of doing away with the 25 mile rule and the 12 plant limit. I could not afford dispensary prices if this was ever implemented. The will of the People say that it is alright to use cannabis for medical reasons. That should be the limit of the law. I know that I don't want a government agency telling me how much medicine I need or how much I need to pay for it. Actually my insurance should be forced to pay for it....HaHaHa....

Another point is what ever happened to "grandfather clauses". Wouldn't everyone be covered by a "grandfather clause". After all you had to spend your hard earned money to buy the grow equiptment and nukes. What will all of that go out the window and we in need are forced into paying black market prices. They won't let us grow outside and we must buy and support all of this stuff to grow. Oh well they say we will soak you in need till you are bone dry and dead. That is the way modern medicine works today anyways why give the people a cheap to grow medicine that will actually help them? Soak them till they are dry and then let them die. No social security to pay then and the government makes out.

I am all for the unconstitutional aspect throwing out the 25 mile rule. my grow poses no risk to my neighbors, it is unconstitutional to protect some citizens rights to grow while preventing others, the state must provide equal protections for all citizens of the state. the issue is we would need a good lawyer to argue the case and those are usually not cheep.

If that is the case... A plant limit of 12 would be unconstitutional as well... Thats what happened in Cali... They use 99 plant limit so the FEDs don't come peeking!!

Do you know the case in California that got them that understanding? What I know is that a People's Initiative is just legislation from the People and not the legislature. It still has to pass the constitutional test. If it is unconstitutional it is unenforceable. And a case already decided in favor of not legislating a limit would be nice to know.
