Not your average clone issue

I have a flood and drain style cloner that i use with 2x2 oasis cubes. I have a 2' T-5 about 6" above clones and I use Clonex in my 5gal res PH set at 6.0. Now I have a bubbler in the res and a water heater set to 72-74*. The clone room stays between 70* and 80* NEVER more or less (on T-stat). Also the table floods on Mon Wed and Fri for 3 min and has a overflow just incase.

PROBLEM: They stay green and helthy and none die but it takes over a month to get any root growth. WHY?

Im at the end of my ropes.....No bugs either

can u explain your process of making cuttings to the time you put them in your cloning device.

Sure I grab a fresh razor blade un-wrap it and take my mother to the clone room. I rinse the flat of cubes with PH'd water (very carefully) I place the cubes in the cloner upside down. Then I use a small drill bit to make new holes slightly bigger than the cuttings. Once im ready I start at the bottom of the mother and take my cuttings one by one placing them in the cubes.

One thought I have is that the cubes arnt drying enough between the three days??? Im thinking water only Mon and Thurs. Maybe they don't root because the don't need to search for water?

r u cutting 45 degree angles on your cuttings? r u scraping the bottom of the cutting exposing the cambium?, r u using a rooting hormone?

45* yes and I use dip n grow. No scraping

Dude oasis cubes are the only thing I have issues with doing cuts.I get them to root easier in fiberglass insulation than I do them things.
I can't stand'em and bet if you switch to something else yer probs will go away.

Besides rockwool what do you guys like? I feel like I should cut a watering out of my schedule with the oasis cubes...idk

Cut out the cubes,just try it once.

You can literally use anything you want.
Some things I have used include,dirt,sand,perlite,rockwool,sponges,insulation,peat,coco,paper towels,paperbags,water.
Seriously the only thing I can't get to werk are them fucking cubes.

What works best in a flood and drain table? Obviously not many things can go in a F&D table

from cutting strait in dirt? how often do you water? what size pot?

I veg and flower in dirt. Roots Organic to be exact

I love roots organic for cuts,do this but use 2" pots for the cuts in dirt then in the dome till roots show.

try rapid rooters or jiffy plugs,
also some b vitamin solution or 1/10th strength nutes to keep them healthy and green.
