Not sure what is going on..........

All,
This is my first grow and I have run down the numbers. Everything was done according to the general hydro feeding schedule, I have supplemented with cal-mag also, water is phed to 5.8 to 6.0 and I am still getting what looks like mag deficiency 3 weeks into flower. At this point, I don't want to add any more mag, but leaves are continuing to turn after removing other ones that were showing problems before the addition of cal-mag. So, I doubt I'm "nute locked", roots look good and they are thriving, the main stalk is over 3 inches in diameter and the roots are crazy big, so no root rot or root issues. No bugs, no spiders and the temperature is consistently around 70 degrees both room temperature and water temperature. At this point, I have a great plant that's producing buds everywhere, but the fan leaves and sugar leaves are taking a beating and it looks exactly like Mag deficiency. Could this be chlorinated water issues? I had been letting it sit outside for 24 hours but got a bit lazy. Our water is nowhere near "hard" but it does smell of chlorine out of the tap. I've never had any other plant "complain" and have grown some very particular pepper plants that hate everything (basically). SO what do you think? Ride it out for the next 4 weeks until harvest or is there something I should do to save my yeild without making the bud suck up tons of chemicals?

Thanks in advance....

By the way..... this was from a bag seed.. I have no idea what genetics, other then indica due to the size of the plant and its effects.
I'm sure once I get some proper seeds, this will get a bit quicker, but this plant has been growing since December and still needs at least 3 weeks longer. She was going to be a mother, but..... nawww, id rather have some better genetics in my rotation.

Snapped a pic of the roots. The brown stain I believe is from the General Hydro. Their macro nutes stain everything it gets on. Or.... do I have something else going on?

Any fix for that Mohican? Also, bigger? really? Right now they fill a 5-gallon bucket. Think I'm gonna stick to soil. this DWC has been a PITA from the start. I went DWC due to the speed..... and it's been way slower than anticipated. BAd genetics or am I doing something way wrong?

wow, is that a 55 gallon drum that friggen tree is growing from? It looks like an old powder coating paint barrel. Also, the roots in the expanded clay are white, they are just brown where that have touched the water. None of that whatever that brown gel stuff it. (Rot i'm assuming?) Out of curiosity what was the yield on that thing? Pounds?

Dwc is fast but needs some experience. I wouldn't start with it (I did many years ago and it went wrong). I wouldn't grow bag seed either.

Just washed her with Peroxide and water (found a video) and cleaned the bucket with bleach. The roots washed-out white(ish), so I'm thinking most of it might be stain from the nutes. Refilled with clean water, phed to 5.9 and did not add any nutes of any kind. I'm 2 weeks before flush and im going to try and make it to the finish line in 100% water. After talking to another grower, he thinks I over micro(ed) and I have a small amount of nute burn causing growth to suck. He also warned that if I tried to cure anything on that plant right now it would taste like a tire fire. So we are going to finish in clean water and see how it goes. bongsmilie
