duudical you should post a link to your grow in this thread https://www.rollitup.org/led-other-lighting/240615-led-users-unite.html so the LED gang can take a look. And if you don't mind a little more free advice, don't pull the trigger on the Chrome just yet. Area51's newest models are coming soon and should be priced near what Blackstar is getting for Chromes. You'll get a much better panel and warranty from Area51 plus the guy who owns the business posts here (Eraserhead in case you didn't know) so you know what they're designed for :eyesmoke:! Good Luck and I'm Subbed!
Thanks for the advice FranJan! Really appreciate it. I will check it out. And I will post a link to the grow on the LED board.

About 6.5 weeks into flowering - about 2 weeks left for the NLB and about 4 for the TD. Both seems to be doing great. Fed them today and they seem to take anything you throw at them. The TD has really put on some bulk in the last week and the NLB is getting super frosty and delicious looking:

Northern Light Blue:

And here is the Tangerine Dream:

Peace out.

Really pleased with the development of the Tangerine Dream this week. Bulking up, huge calyxes, and starting to get super resinous. Definitely more airy buds than the NLB, but I think this has quite a bit of sativa in it compared to the almost 100% indica of the NLB:

The Northern Light Blue is on its last week (at least that is my plan). It is incredibly sticky and all of the tops are looking awesome. Trichomes are mostly milky looking through a scope with some turning amber. Hoping that more turn amber this week so that I can cut her down next weekend:

Harvested the Northern Light Blue last night. Have it hanging to dry. I will weigh it after its dry to see what it yielded. I am pleased with results though.

The NLB looks mighty tasty man! Im growing out one from high grade as we speak, love it!! Good work dude :)
Thanks man! Appreciate it. I really loved growing this plant. It trained super easy and seemed bulletproof. I am super happy with the results and can't wait to smoke this shit.

The Tangerine Dream has at least 3-5 weeks to go, but I put the Purple Wreck plant I have been vegging for about a month into a 5 gal felt pot and put it into the flowering tent. So off again. :)

No worries man, you've done well hey! You will love smoking the NLB too, it's my favourite smoke to date and ive been smoking for 20 years. Nice couchlock stone, tastes a little sweet and smells fuckin unbelievable :-)

Good work on getting the next grow going too, look forward to seeing how they come out!

Here are some pics of the Tangerine Dream which is still in flower. I think it will have at least 3 weeks left, possibly 5. I've read a lot of varying info on the instability of this strain and I have no clue what phenotype I have. But, Holy Shit!, the main cola is gigantic and funky looking. It is like a cylinder LOL. The trichs are coming in nicely though and there are several large buds on side branches. It will be interesting to see how this finishes. I have seen a lot of very negative reviews regarding this strain, but we shall see. So far, it is definitely cool :)

Put the Purple Wreck I was begging into a 5 gal felt pot and placed it in the flowering tent as well. I will start a new journal for that one. Great looking plant though:

Nice journal! I'm starting my first grow with a set up similar to your own. I'm going to keep an eye on your grow for sure :eyesmoke:

Great job on that TD duud. Could be a monster! I've got the almost pure sativa pheno it seems, takes forever to finish. I'll be growing it again in 2013, but this time I'll be using a 10/14 schedule to get it to, I think, finish properly, i.e. no foxtailing, neverending growth, super airy buds. I just hope yours has more indica in it :).

Did you ever see Zibra's TD? Nicest one I've ever seen.

Thank bro! That TD is insane! Mine grew super low with really tight internodes. Didn't stretch like I thought it would. The almost pure indica NLB that grew next to it stretched more. I am just going to watch and keep scoping the resin glands to see when they go about half amber. I just harvested some good bud so I can wait lol. How was the TD smoke?

^^^Good enough to give it another try! LOL Lots of people like to shit on TD, (even I do), but it is good smoke. Mine has a great head high and a touch of couch-lock with a skunk-funky smell that goes to pure tangerine when flowering and curing. TD just has too many pheno's, BF should of grown it out more, but if you get the right one it's God-bud IMHO :eyesmoke:. Big yielder usually.

Well, I can't wait to try it. I am going to be super patient to make sure I let it get to the perfect ripeness before harvesting it. Mine smells incredibly sweet, but it really only smells if you get your finger sticky on it - otherwise you can just smell a slightly sweet odor in the tent itself. If it produces the effects you mentioned that would be bitchin'. But as a plant, it has been fun to grow - and definitely to coolest looking ganja I have grown so far.

Whew....that NLB smoke is guuuuuuud. My (adult) kids and I hit some and then played Kinect Party last night...seriously good time. This will definitely be grown in my room again. So glad I kept a mother from her.

End of week 9 of flowering for the Tangerine Dream - still a couple weeks to go I think. Seriously mutant buds though :) The main cola is funky:

This plant has grown really well since the very beginning. Super low and tight internodes right from the start. It seems like it can't eat enough too so it has been super easy to take care of. Excited to see how it turns out and try this stuff out.

Tangerine Dream just hit 70 days of flower today. Still looking amazing and continuing to get very frosty. Took a couple of pics including a really great close up that really captures the crystal growth. Going to let this continue to mature. Most trichs are either cloudy or mostly clear so I will give it another week or two to see how things develop. Might take a smaller bud in a week, dry it and see where it it is at. Cool looking plant.

Excellent, excellent job. That Northern Lights Blue sounds like a perfect cross, the vigor and ease of growth of the Northern Lights with the flavor that Blueberry brings. Love it! You got some primo weed out of that Northern Lights Blue.
