Nobody's BIG BUDs

Hey, I felt like making a little post about a little grow I started about a week ago. It all started with 4 nirvana seeds I had left over. I dug those seeds into jiffies i treaded previously with an organic cloning agent. Those jiffies had been soaked for a day before I placed the seeds into them. Then I made a dumb decision, instead of putting them into my vegging box I placed them in my dome on a south side window sill. They all spruced within 48h, the first showed it head after only 20h! So that was a good start anyway. Do to the window sill they stretched in 3 days to about 3".
I had to act on this, so I cut the mesh off and buried the plants into a perlite/ light soil mix and placed them into my vegging box. There they sit under 3 2ft T5/6500K with each 18W ventilated by a little fan.

the rest of the data:

-light is 18/6
-fan runs all the time at low
-nutes will introduce about week 3-5
-watering is pH to 6,25 at 25°C
-pH down agent is synthetic vinegar
-temps are around 80-85F during lights on and down to 68F during lights off
-no additional heating in this set up

those seeds are now a week into the soil and growing for 5 to 6 days.

very nice a little stretch thats ok tho. i like my plants short and fat

as i stated, i tried to grow them on the sill but the weather was too rainy to do it so i acted and took them into the lil veg box;)
and they gone get short and fat, believe me on this one:D

a new day in my jurnal, pH'ed some more water for my veg box plants today. it ended up to be quiet some hassle, always been obove 6.25 or below - settled for some water with 6.26, best i could do.

also made a few more pics of those babies and decided that they been ready for some topping.

so those are made before i topped my babies:)

after taking this pic above i went to top them. for the job i used a pair of surgical scissors i sterilised previously with pure ethanol (my hands still stink for that stuff :spew: )
the leaves i cut away, i sterilised as well with a soaked q-tip.

and that is how they look now after the surgery:mrgreen:

almost did it tonight, before i left for the gym i check on them, all had at least a 1/4 inch from the tubes. returned after about 2 hours and went again to check which in normally don't do, but i did. one of this dummies reached up wit one leave, for what reason ever, up to the center tube. glade that i checked again and had the fan running on high. that kept that tube pretty cool luckily:shock:

lowered them now down a 1" and a good 1/4, that was almost a close-call:D

time for another update on the progress. they survived the mad topper - that is me:lol:, one managed to survive the evil floro tube:oops: well shit happens sometimes;)
and now the effects of good old topping set in, fresh green sprucing from every nook you can think of:)

see yourself...
