Kids are very selfish, even as adults they still act like kids. I've read many posts by you, sir. Your mind is certainly not gone. One arm pssshhh you can still fire up the bong and rub one out. If he says that again, I suggest you play the part and do both of those things as a mental cognitive display. Eye contact is key.

Good parents have the worst children. I'm 36 and still don't think I could make it though this world without the help of my rents( money, tools, advice, know-how ext) mom bro and I are having talks about revoking pops DL his vision and reaction time are declining fast, and he wrecked mom's car 2 weeks ago. he took himself off 2 wheels and doesn't drive at night for a few years now.
Now that I have kids of my own (one that is just like me in many ways) idk how my rents still even want to look at me. And I am that much more grateful. I guess the only way to repay them is to accept parenthood as a life long appointment and to continue to support and encourage my kids at any age.

Son and a friend moved into our Apartment. Got a few acres so fence went up and animals came.

He is different than me. When we had a farm I figured the animals depended on me and many times I put them before me.

I figure this way if I have an animal or a plant it is my responsibility to give them the best I can.

Just went and bought medication for my Dogs. $250.

That's all we can do. Just stand ready with a broom and dustpan, sometimes a shovel to pick up the pieces.

My Son is here all the time so naturally we both have our say face to face and he does go out of his way watching out for me.

I have things I want to do but I have to realize people have Jobs and other commitments so I understand they come first.

Dad how do I get my soil ready to garden? Work it up and plant a Cover Crop.

The kid is actually smart on some things.
