nirvana PPP + 78w of cfl

the time seems to be flying by at this point
the big question was will my fan leaves last all the way
answer seems to be no, they are yellowing way too quick
but the bud doesn't seem to be having an issue, continues to swell
and they are getting fat, big balls of white
and this is a white strain, bud checking will be a new experience

if the strain does what it's supposed to do, the buds should swell a lot more in the last 2 weeks, should double in bulk
but we'll see at the final weigh in

buds are maybe 3 inches in diameter
the leafiness makes it bit tough to tell exactly, going to be a trimming chore for sure
i'll post some new pics later, try to measure the little devils more closely

7 weeks of flower, what a mix of healthy bud and dieing fan leaf
i stuck by my plan, used the same nutrients that my NL seemed to like
i do have 2nd thoughts now that some more nutrient may have helped
more nitrogen may have been better
if i can reveg this strain, i may try just that
bud odor seems to have settled into final stage, skunky mint
lower parts of the larger buds about 3 inches across, 2 inches near top
but i'd be surprised if it puts on too much more bulk with all the fan leaves gone

wow.. lol. very colorful pics. thats really wierd that ur leaves ended up yellowing like that?? but oo well. like u said.. ur buds r doing/looking good. thats all that matters! =) cant wait for the harvest pics man.. adn thats good that times flyin b... lucky!! hopefully sum of that luck will pass my way... time seems to be at a standstill for me!! =*( but the WW is comon along nicely.. soo i cant complain. =)

the yellowing may just be the strain, some strains/phenos will ripen in this way
mostly i just like to drive myself crazy second guessing
i just won't know for sure until the final haul, if it's a OZ or better, probably had enough food
so i wait, probably 2 more weeks
i will post up on the niravan strains thread you made as soon as i harvest, like that thread, lots of nice info

yeaa, i gues alotta plants finish growing with almost all their leaves yellowing? i jsut never had it happen to me. lol. my leasves were ALL green and healthy when i harvested. lol i was kinda wierd?? but yea man u should defff get at least an O.

it does make a interesting picture, will definitely do a smoke report
just checked a little while ago, smell is a sweet mild skunk mint, that's a 1st for me with that odor

hey growone, thought i'd stop by and show some love. the grow looks sick man. i am a newb at this but i have heard of plants naturally yellowing near the final stages because they suck all the sugars out from the rest of the plant and shoot them to the buds. maybe some molasses may have helped? in any case looks sick, let us know how it is...maybe ill try nirvana on the next grow.

i did use a molasses tea throughout flower
but this 1st nirvana grow seems pretty sweet, i do have more nirvana seeds
just popped out a Cali-O for my next strain adventure
7 1/2 weeks of 12/12, i'm getting a little more happy every day
the lower fan leaves are just a disaster, but at this point i don't care
the buds are ripening big and juicy, so screw the lower fan leaves
the other development is the pistils have started to change color
happened fast, almost overnight, but quite few have turned
they are not red/brown like many other strains
much lighter, i believe that is the white strain signature

well who really gives a shit about those leaves unless you got a garbage bag full to make some cannabutter. the leaves around the buds are the greenest and healthiest so i guess that's a great sign. did you notice a difference using molasses? how much did you mix in to, say, a liter of water?

Really it all looks good bro ur doin work I'll be here for your next strain also

is true, just makes for some strange pics
i add 1 tsp of molasses per gallon, i think that's about 1/4 tsp per liter
when i feed, i use 2 quarts of a tea that has 1/2 tsp of molasses
that's a lean tea, i could bump it up a bit i suppose

yea mayb eit is the "white strain" signature. =) cuz my WW plants pistils are changing... and almost look pink.. and the other are very ligh orange.. almost beige color.. kinda wierd? im postin picvs up today. but anywwayz.. lookin good man. keep it up. canrt wait to see the harvest pics!!
