Nirvana AK-48 Feminized 600W Grow

Hello everybody. Just finished the harvest. Very very proud of the work me and my friend did. I feel like we got a really good yield as well considering the shortened vegetation period; only weighed out the 5 main colas from each one and they average around 40 g each. Didn't weigh out any of the other buds yet though. Smoked some scissor hash and was high as hell. Took about 3 hours to cut and trim all the buds. No pictures right now but probably tomorrow.

Weighed them wet today, 378 g. That's 13.5 oz. All the bud is drying out now. Hopefully it'll all weigh around 7-8 oz when its almost all dry. I hear dry weight is typically a third of the wet weight though so we'll see.

Nice harvest! Typically your dry weight is between 20%-30% of your wet weight - average about 25%. So you should see around 100g.

Well you did cut the day before weighing them wet so it's anyone's guess how much of the water in the bud evaporated before you weighed them. Who knows? Your dry weight may be closer to that than you think. I wish you quick curing and happy smoking!

Dry, but he had a lot less plants than you can easily fit under a 600w HPS.

Hey hey everybody. Final weight is in. 140 grams dry. Around an ounce/plant. Really enjoyed growing and am already coming up with big plans for the next grow. Thank you to all those who followed along, for the advice and encouragement. I've smoked some of the bud, gets right behind your eyes and stays there. Nugs going in the jars tomorrow or the next day, no more smoking for 2 weeks (yea, right) until they've cured enough. It's going to be a good June.

Hey nice job! I don't believe you'll leave it all alone for two weeks though. lol

Lol no I separated the smallest nugs and put them in their own jar - personal consumption while the bulk of it cures

Wavey , how bad was the smell?

For me the odor was a little hard to gauge because I have a lackluster sense of smell. However, my friend complained that the plants could be smelled throughout the house so he always kept some air freshening spray handy. Other friends that stopped by also noticed the smell but I couldn't really smell anything until I was in the room the plants were in. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give the overall odor about a 7 for our grow.

Oder on a scale of 1 - 10 was a 9.5. This shit reeks especially the last few weeks. So use caution when growing. Overall Rating on the AK-48 smoke wise is a solid 8.
