Nirvana AK-48 Feminized 600W Grow

In the home stretch now. The plants have really come a long way. 11 days from chop and they look good. Starting to see some of the pistils turn orange. Starting to stink too. The buds are sticky as hell. Some yellow leaves on the taller plants, don't know the reason why they've appeared on those and not the others because we use the same nutrient mix for all of them. Ran out of molasses though, going to need another jar for this last week. I'm thinking we stop feeding them 3 days out, and lights off for the last day. Enjoy the photos.

I have an AK at day 45 and I plucked a popcorn nug and let it sit in the dark for 2 days. What a high!! I couldn't think straight, stumbling around, brain dead!! YEA !!

Poster below is right 1 hitter !!!

Looks great. You are really going to enjoy this strain. I have some that has been curing for about a month.. and 1 bong hit is all I need. I use Veg and bloom nutes throughout the plants whole life cycle...This normally helps out with the yellow leaves toward the end of flowering. I would recommend you letting them go a little longer if possible. They will keep putting on weight. Peace.

Thanks BlackRoses

I've been thinking about ordering from the Attitude Seedbank for the next grow. Anyone have any experience with them? In particular with deliveries to the States.
Wavey - Use Attitude consistently with no problem. Pay the insurance for the stealth shipping - If you don't get your order they will reship for free. I get my beans in a couple of weeks max. Great looking grow. I got some AK-48 at 3 weeks in hydro - hope it looks as good as yours in the end. Peace.

Great to hear, I'm really looking forward to it more than ever now. Canback, sounds good, I'm excited to use them. I'm sure they will, it's a pretty nice strain to grow.

Checked in on the ladies today. Everything is looking good. Pulled the dead leaves off the plants too. Went to go see a house today, really liked it. A lot of options for a grow room, definitely looking forward to getting the house. Anyways, onto the plants. One of the big tall ones is leaning over but they still have some fattening up to do. Going to try to push the harvest date as far back as we can. The pistils are getting really orange too, still a ways to go as far as calyx development; I think they can swell up some more. Low quality pictures, digital camera next time.

Just watered and got some pictures taken. That one short plant is really putting out a fat cola. Started looking at some new houses, went to see a couple today and am excited about the possibilities of setting up a proper grow room.

Fuckin sweet man. Every shot I see of AK-48 makes my mouth water. I truly can't wait to hear your report on the smoke. My AK girls are 25 days behind yours flowering... so it's going to be quite awesome to see the herb you pull from your plants.

Back to admiring your bud pr0n some more ;)

Pics coming later today, they're all taken, just need to upload them.

Thanks chief. Just checked in on your grow. Huge plants, how long did you let them veg? How do they respond to super cropping?

No problem ;) They went into 12/12 just about 30 days after they sprouted from their shells. So far all 5 of the plants have responded fantastically well to supercropping. It hurt me inside to see the thick, sturdy stems snap and bend but in the end every single one of them turned back towards the light, began healing well, and all of their sub-foliage began to grow at an extremely accelerated pace. All of the budsites I pinned as doomed to be tiny are growing in just as full as the main stalk.

So in short, supercropping was a good idea. Especially for me - I needed the vertical space, the one plant is approaching 40 inches.

I asked around on my threads when is a good time to harvest AK-48. The general consensus is about 57 to 60 days for the best effect. Are u going to steal a nuggie here and there and try it out? I'm at day 52 and have really noticed the triches pour it on the last 2 days.

Thanks everybody.

@ WeSmkDro

Don't know how tall they are, can't imagine more than 2 - 2.5 feet for the tallest ones though. Might measure today though, kind of curious about it myself now that you mentioned it.

@ patlpp

That's good to hear, might be able to push the harvest back a couple days, but I doubt it so 52 days sounds like its going to have to be good enough.

Hey there. If you damage the leaves like that, it doesn't go away. You have to look at the new growth, to see if the problem is solved. But no - once burnt/otherwise damaged, it's permanant on those leaves.
I didn't see this reply! Thanks DoeEyed, you're right, the new growth began to fill in without any blemishes shortly after I balanced out my PH and got superthrive into my water, as it seems Wavey's did too.

Sorry to jack your thread Crockett ^^, free bump I guess eh? ;)

Whoa! Amazing buds you have there! Especially that first one - what a fatty! Almost makes you sad to chop 'em, doesn't it?
