Thanks Irie and Bubba!
On my tea days I just used recharge at 1 tsp per gallon and slf100 1tsp per gallon, ph the water to 6.4 .... add both .. and water ... my plants have never missed a beat. Recharge (looking at you Scotty real!) is a must. Magic. Plain and simple.

Im kind of surprised how long 1 qt of gaia lasted. 10months or so (running just a few plants)

Need to buy another one here soon.

Also with TT.

I am kind of going to agree with scott on that one. The taste of fish cartilage was there. It was totally minor, but totally there.

Think ill go with AE this time when i get into flower.
and just use up my TT during veg/early flower.

I run Tritons over 30 ml with gassy phenos from week 5 till finish and even early ripen with it, I've never had a fishy taste to the bud??? This is new to me, when did Scott mention it? I've never heard anyone have fish taste cause of a fish nutrient??

should have no fishy Taste ....... plants process it differently .. lol.. like some one said if you crush pills in soil will make it stronger.....lmao ... yeah ok .... doesn't work like that ..... like saying you can taste cow shit from corn or pig shit from lettuce .... it all gets broken down to be useable for the plant ..... wife has a deadly reaction to fish , and had the convo with Scott yrs ago ... that won't happen unless she drinks the shit ...lol... or get on her hands ....

Ah i misheard him. maybe it was placebo.
But the smoke tasted abit fishy?

Maybe it was from the drying process.
Maybe it was just in my head.

Hi guys I'm current doing an organic liquid feed grow. I use Elevation organics cal mag and bloom, slf 100, Sugaree, recently I was advised to add Herculean harvest and I have at about 10 ml. Per gallon every feed/watering. I feed and water everytime any thoughts. Btw the plants look very happy about week 3 at 11.5/12.5

What ph do you feed at? I only ask because Herc is best taken up from 6.4-6.8 which is normally high for all other SOIL nute lines, which usually max out around 6.5.........if you really want to get your Herc money's worth, use it once a week at 30 ml ph to 6.4 with 5 ml of SLF to mitigate nutrient salt buildup, create food for microbes, and add density & flavor!! And do the same when you are 1-2 weeks from finishing to ripen, use the Herc 6.4 for a week and just plain water for a week and chop!! If the 10 ml you been giving is working, then by all means continue but I think when most growers use it with other lines its used similar to how I explained.

people used herc with salt nutrients and had good success ... in veg you can go as low as 6.1 in veg then 6.3-6.8 in flower .... people used herc to keep the salts in check ....

So... you took good soil and add in that ? why ?
I use Fox Farms Happy Frog Soil. Then I add about 20% more perlite to it. Thats it. I would use #4 .. but no one down in Los angeles Stocks it .. my hydro store which is a bit of a drive to get to sells the big happy frog for like 11.05 which I have not found that price beaten anywhere else .. so I just use that.

I gotta drive nearly 3 hours round trip for #4 and its $25 a bag......ouch.....but I've found it to be that good!! And since I recycle it, its not so bad in the long run. They do sell out fast though so I try to keep a reserve bag or two around for seeds/clones and mixing topdress kits! I've found ROOTS B2 soil to be the best replacement for me, I just add some oyster shell flour to make sure it holds ph in mid 6's. The B2 is a light mix designed for more bottle feed control, already has the extra aeration and is more like nectar #8 soil. Does that HAPPY FROG ever give you any issues with low ph or holding moisture too long?

I drive 120 miles round trip for #4, plus I score it for $14 a bag. I plan on doing the trip in another month or so, wanna stock up for winter that way I don't have to deal with road conditions. I usually fill the trunk of my car with bags.

You gonna start recycling your soil too right?

I did just become a 20% member at my store so #4 will be $20 a bag......a little better!!

Hell yes I am going to recycle it, somebody said it actually gets better. But around the new year my little operation is going to grow a bit and will need some fresh bags to supplement the growth.

Never had a issue with Happy Frog. Ph has been good. No problem with Moisture holding. It does what I need, seedlings, teens all work great with it. To be honest, with the industry going through this whole gold rush of legalization I think they have been rushing the mixing processs a bit .. found a piece of glass in a bag about 2 months ago ... and have had some on and off fungus nats pop up but nothing a little DT cant fix. 2cu ft at 11 $ Ill put up with what I do lol.
