Newb's Own First Grow - AK-47s

Some people use MH light or blue CFL light during flower to encourage sativa tendencies found at higher latitudes. So there is an argument that bluer light encourages more potency while yellow light encourages more yield. Even so, blue light will make more yield than no light at all so yea you should definitely add all the light you possibly can whether it's blue or yellow.

all cfl.. well, there IS a 70w HPS security light as well. But vegged with clf all the way.

Its mostly one plant. If you look to the right, you will see the stalk from the other plant.

Mared ur right man burn them if u got them for sure. Good advice bro. I usually actually try to hang cfls over some of the lower colas as well with my stretchy plants.

Nice grow leggo, I'm feelin the same pain you went thru when ur babies were growing slow, its been 22 days for me and they still look tiny. But lookin at this thread I'm thinking thats prolly how some grow. Keep up the good work and I hope you get a QP off your grow op!!!

Just walked in! First thing I did was check my rollitup LOL... so many threads I need to check out

Removed the last set of phonebooks... the only place to go now it up! So the HPS will be rigged this weekend (amongst all my christmas shopping I have put off... woops)

Also, when I removed the books, I accidently bend a lower node of Jane's clear off... I cloned for the first time!!! LOL I may go ahead an stick it is water and see what happens??

Yea man, re-cut it at 45 degree angle with clean scissors and pop it in some water. Make sure you have a clear dome or bowl and a sprayer bottle too.

i didnt need a dome or sprayer for mine ... but my room conditions are 60F, 50%H
so pretty ideal already.... shits easy, like mared said re-cut it and put that bitch in some water

where to put it? theres a shelf in the main closet? clones dont need much light, right??

Yea you're right - low light is best for cuttings. Too much light and they get yellow very quickly. I keep up to 10 cuttings under a single 26 watt CFL and you could probably use even less.

Ok. So I dont know how well this will work, and I really dont care, just a fun experiment.

I took the clone... we'll name her Shilo (Angelina's Daughter lol), and placed her in a small juice glass and placed her on the window sill...

in the shower.

Yeah, I have a windowsill in my shower, with frosted glass (private, with some sun). Also, its the most warm, humid, dare I saw 'tropical' place in the house

I'll post small "mini-updates" on this clone.. fewer and far between

I wish I had a sky light in my bathroom!
