Hey Spike - So far so good, subscribed ... would like to see final product!

What week are you on? Have you started to feed them FF yet?
Well it's hard to say what week I'm on but since this popped through the hole about a 3 weeks ago, i had germinted in the aerogarden so I was mixing and moving seeds around most died but this one popped out on about march 5th. I started the germ in middle of Feb. but most didn't make it and this one just appeared. Some sprouted roots and they had to be realigned in the sponge with the hole I poked. Yes FF, started with some aero nutes, though. But now about 1 teaspoon a week when I change the water. The PH was way high becuase I just got a kit yesterday, so I brought it down and found it doesnt take much to change it so I carefully added ph up to get it right. I'm not liking the color chart ... might have to find something more accurate.

Lots of tricks to learn with AG's. Make excellent germination machines in my view but would hate to do a full grow with one. The little tap root grows into the sponge and a person has to check it everyday till it breaks out of the bottom end. Also that weak light makes them stretch like crazy. Each time you see one a few inches tall and skinny you got to shove it a little deeper down in the sponges. After they start looking like killer weed move it to Hempy buckets.

Thanks for the info ... looking to get some better seeds soon! As for lights I have 2 new style aerogarden flat bulbs that are better than the originals and 2 48W daylight cfl's. Germinating in some plates now in case this is a male or at least to add some rineds, just bag seeds for now.

This baby is growing fast!

I was reading in an ehow video about growing in an aerogarden http://www.ehow.com/how_4917783_grow-medical-marijuana-using-aerogarden.html it says to start flowering when you have 4 full sized leaves and before it gets 12 inches tall. So I think I'm there but what do you all think? When should I start flowering?
The water is dropping about 3/4 inch a day and the roots are looking great.
Also, I'd like to get a digital ph tester and seen some on ebay for $20, are these cheap ones any good?
I have no idea what strain this is but it looks like an indica to my untrained eyes.
I am also worried about the smell as I am starting to notice a faint skunk smell. THis is in an enclosed metal cabinet. Not sure if I'll need to vent it outside which will mean a new cabinet.

Thanks for reading!

They will just about triple in size when flowering, so just calculate that into how much space you have to grow.

Well I started flowering 3/31 and then I went away for 4 days, came back and it doubled in size, and was touching the lamps so it fried the top set of leaves. Its growing wide and tall. Wish I moved it to the center pod. I've attached some pics and now its looking like a male. Smells great.
Let me know what you think, this is my first grow. So it's been flowering for a week. I changed bulbs over. Also, as I was rerigging the light I dropped it and it bend over the plant ... so I added a piece of broken fishing rod to keep it straight. Hey, it's all I could find in a pinch.

Well that's cool , it was a fun grow for my first. Maybe I should harvest the seeds, it sure was a healthy plant. Not really sure what strain. I really can't believe how fast it grew. We'll I got some new seeds to try anyway, but this time I'm going for a bigger cabinet.

Thanks All for the support. Especially SICC!

No prob man, keep us posted once you get the new grow going, you could harvest the pollen, and pollinate your next batch when you get females and make your own seeds

Freeze the pollen if you would like to keep it. At least for sentimental purposes.. Somewhere down the line in your experience as a grower, you will want to give a shot at breeding. Just... I don't see you wanting to grow a male out again, so keep the pollen. Save it. When you get something really special break that pollen out and make yourself a hybrid. And be proud that the offspring will be from your first baby.
