What's Good RIUP? I'm A NewBee Grower 1st Plant Ever. I Have Been Reading Alot Trying To Figure Out How To Grow. HowEver Every1 Has Different Ways & Methods.

Well 1st I'm On A Budget. Attached Is My GrowFirdge Wich I Believe Is Working Great, Oh And My Baby Plant Strain Unknown But Believed To Be Some Sort Of Purp Thats All I Was Smoking When I Found This Seed. Neways I Threw It Outside N It Started To Grow So I Transferred From Outside Soil To Indoor Organic Soil From (Gardner & Bloome) N Moved It Inside So Its Indoor Now.

I Have It On 12/12 Light/Darkness Im Using 2 CFLs 23watts Each It Gets Pretty Warm In Their Also Have The Fan On 12/12 With The Light. I Give It Plain Tap Water About Every 3rd Day If Needed ( If Top Soil Gets 2 Dry) I Have Fed It Miracle Grow Twice.

Attached Are The Pixs Check It Out Let Me Know If It Looks Good Or If I Might Be Doing Something Wrong. Oh As U Can See In The Pics My 2 Newest Big Leaves Are Starting To Curl Their Really Green N The New Leaves Are Looking A Bit Yellowish Plz Help And Guide Me To What My Next Steps Should Be.

change you light schedule back to Veg mode.
18/6 is good.
this will produce and actually grow quicker.
let it get about a foot+ then change over to 12/12.

whats the NPK ratio on you food? During this stage you want a higher N ( nitrogen) value like 20-10-10(MircGw) or worm casting 20-0-0

you shouldnt have to feed your plant for at least 2-3 weeks.
Your soil should have enough nutes to last you untill then.

easy on watering and over feeding.
Its very easy to do at this stage.

I'm on my first as well so my advise is coming from what id change on my mistakes.

Oh and plant 2/3 more seedlings. Man it would suck to grow a month or two and realize your only baby is an un-smokable male.

Know what Im saying..? It's like The Tecate w/ no lime or salt , or your last joint turned out to only be a stale cigarette.

Another good idea is do away with the miracle grow, it makes a nasty taste on fruit what ever nute you use do not give nutes until 2 weeks old. And make sure you begin with 1/4 of a teaspoon in the begining and work your way up. If the plant gets nute burns then hold off and flush during next watering. Also, DO NOT WATER with TAP water unless you let it sit over night (24 hours), because the chlorine. Also check your ph in the water, because a flucuation in ph is bad. Try to use a non nutrient soil.

Statix, you could wait up to two weeks before you feed your baby. We will get into feeding once your there, but if you want to go the cheap route get miracle grow patio this is good in the NPK range. I will be watching over your post daily. You tap water should sit for 24 hours just to get rid of the chlorine, it won't go bad either. it will just evaporate. So your lights are on 18/6 which is good, but if you want faster growth to get into flowering quicker to determine sex, I suggest going to 24 hours of continuas light. Another thing I noticed is your lights are 2700k soft white, these lights are used mainly for flowering, because they are more in the orange/red spectrum. I would definitly run with 6500k daylight these are more in the blue spectrum. which is mainly used for veg. If your going to grow one plant, be prepared to have a 50/50 chance of it being a female and alot of time wasted and dedication wated if your baby turns out to be a male. If I were you I would go with at least 4. This way at least 2 will be female if your lucky which I hope you are (knock on wood). Another thing is you have a fan run a fan on it and put your lights maybe and inch to an inch and a half. If you have any more questions get at me,peace.

N It Takes Me A Couple Days To Reply Cause My LapTop Is Down So I Check RIUP On My PS3 But It Wont Let Me Log In.. Oh Im Aware Of The Risk 50/50 Male/Female If A I Get A Male I Will Be Bummed HowEver Its Part Of The Learning Experiance And Stuff. Oh I Do Have A Fan Running 24/7 With The Lights. The lights are simple, the 6500k will usually say daylight on the sides if you buy them from wollie world. Also I have noticed alot of cfls are color coded. Like the 6500k are usually blue and the 2700k soft white for flowering are red. Check out the pics it shows the red and blue.Remember blue is 6500k daylight (veg) and red is 2700k soft white or cool white (flowering)

?1 - How Do I Know What Stage My Plant Is In On Or When It Changes?
?2 - My Plant Is Browning From The Tips. Like Drying Slowly I Took Pixs HowEver Forgot The SD Card. Also Looks Like Their Ar No New Little Leaves Growing. Ill Try And Post The Pixs Soon.

There are 2 main stages of a bud plant:

1. vegative stage= seedlings until 1month or 2 depending on the size you want. Most people prefer flowering at 8=18 inches with at least 8 nodes.
2. Floering stage = at this stage you will begin to flower and you be able to sex you plants if you have unfeminised seeds. At this stage your plant will either double or triple in size and buds will form.


For your last questions pics are a must.

So Its All A Matter Of Growth In Inches? To Know When My Plant Is Ready For The Flowering Stage?

Also Attached Are Some Pixs Of My Plant. Not Doing So Good.

As You Can See The 2 Lower Leafs Im Sure Are Dying They Where The 1st But The Plant Went Threw Some Stress So I'm Sure Those Are No Good.

However The Bigger Newer 1s Are Curling Upwards And Drying At The Tips. Also Looks Like The Growth Was Stunted, And The New Baby Leafs Are Not Wilting But They Are Looking Kinda Purplish.

I Been Looking Up To Try And Find Out Whats Wrong. 1st Thought It Was Copper But My New Leafs Arnt Permanetly Wilting Also I Thought It Could Be Phosphorus But The Phosphorus Said Nothing About The Upward Curling.

If You Need Any More Info Just Ask Me. Thanx For The Help. Thats All The Info I Have For Now.

The lower leaves are dying from over watering and the top leaves are either to close to your light or some type of nute deficience.

Don't water you baby until the top of the soil crusts over and the pot is actually light.. I can tell there is over watering, because the leaves are drooping and the lower ones are yellowing. I really can't see whats wrong with the leaves other than a little curling at the tips whick looks light the lights are drying them out or there is not enough humidity in you grow area.

humidity could actually be an issue. how can i get the humidity up?

You can mist the top of the soil, place a bunch of cups with water in the area, or get a humidifier.
