Newb here

Got my panda hung and fans mounted. Just have to hang the light and plug everything in. Is it okay to use reflective tape to seal up where I overlapped the panda? Hope to fire the room up tomorrow and let it run for a few days and monitor temps and RH. Oh yeah, I had to buy a new ballast because the one I bouoght used didn't work. That's what I get for trying to save a buck.

Okay fab, I've got the room up and running. Been running for about 5 hours now. My temp seems to be holding at around 60F and RH about 50. I thought for sure I would have heat problems with the 1000 watt but I guess not. Is 60 too cool? I'm almost thinking to put the ballast right in the room to help warm it up. I'll try to get picks up tomorrow.

Hey fab (and everyone), finally have pics of the room. Let me know what you think. Just placed an order with Attitude for some Seedsman Auto Blue, Auto Kush, and Auto Great White Russia. Since this is my first grow I decided to go with a least expensive auto.

u might want to add a oscilating fan for air movement around plants
but i think your room is great
will be looking for updates when u get seeds +rep

My first grow is on it's way. Here are some specs.

Medium: Pro-Mix BX
Seeds: Seedsman Auto Great White, Auto Kush, and Auto Blue
Nutes: Superthrive and will be using Fox Farm Trio when plants are ready for them.
Temps: Lights on 80-83 degrees. Lights off 71-73 degrees.
RH: Around 30%
Light: 1000 watt HPS/MH w/ 48" vertizontal reflector
Light schedule: 20/4

Plants are 6-8 days old from sprout. They've only been receiving ph'ed water with a little Superthrive added. This is my first grow so if anyone notices anything I should be concerned with please let me know.
