Hey Fab, here are some shitty pics of the space I would like to utilize. I would obviously have to frame up some make-shift walls. The space is roughly 4x6x6. Could I just frame it up and line it all real good with panda film?

I'm going to look at a 1000 watt switchable with 48'' reflector and some other goodies tomorrow. Here's a description of what he has:

"For the green thumb indoor enthusiast this is a 48 inch reflector with switchable High pressure sodium / metal hallide ballast with chain rigging... remark timing system timer

Coolsystem ballast, sunquest shield , and lamp with bloom juice tiger bloom , unopened , pots and soil"

I'm thinking 6" intake and exhaust fans that move at least 100 CFM. Not sure if this light I'm going to look at is the "cooltube" type.

Well, looks like a change of plans fab. I will be using a 24"x30"x66" metal cabinet for my grow. That 1000 watt light will probably too much for that space. Would a 600w be okay or should I go with the 400w for such a small space? Also what is better to line it with, mylar or panda film? The local hydro store sells both. I plan on using a 120cfm bathroom fan for exhaust. Not sure what I'm going to use for intake yet. Would the same bathroom fan mounted backwards work? It seems like it would. Would like to get the cabinet lined this week and light ordered by no later than next week.

i think you will have heat problems with just a 400w light without getting a cool tube as for fan yes it will work for intake
for mylar go to walmart they got emergency blankets of mylar 54x82 in camping section for $3

Okay, I'll plan on ordering a 400w cool tube. Some good deals on ebay right now and if I get the 400w they sell a 400w MH conversion bulb so I don't have to buy a switchable ballast. I'll check out Walmart tonight. Thanks fab.

Hey fab, looks like I'm using that original 4' wide x 7' long x 6' high space in the basement. I've framed up some walls and put down a floor. I have the panda film but I'm waiting to hang it until my fans arrive so I can use the framing to mount them. They are 6" duct fans. I can't remember their cfm off hand. I ended up purchasing that 1000w MH/HPS system with the 4' vertizontal umbrella reflector. The guy also gave me a heavy duty timer and two new bottles of FF nutes (Grow Big and Tiger Bloom). Got everything for $200. I ordered the fans, MH bulb, and one of those zippers to make a doorway in the panda. They should be here by Wednesday. Hopefully I can get the fans and light mounted and panda hung this weekend so I can fire it up for few days to see where my temps and RH run. Will probably order seeds Friday. Does anyone have any experience with everyonedoesit.com?
