I'm not sure if you guys are aware of Solar bulbs. Let me explain, if you fill on empty 2 liter coke bottle with water and 3 caps full of bleach it will capture natural light and reflect it to the equivalent of a 60 watt bulb. Half of the coke bottle must be above a roof line in order to redirect the light below.
These lights require no electricity and and they concentrate the Lumens more then A plane glass would. What I am suggesting is to dig a hole 5 feet in diameter perfectly round and about 4 and a half feet deep. Then cut a piece of corrugated roof to slide over your hole. Then fit 30 of these Solar bulbs to the roof. Each Solar bulb is 60 watts so 30 would be 1800 watts within a 5 by 5 foot area. You could easily grow a pound in that hole without anybody seeing shit. This is proof on concept only.
I highly doubt that this will work. By al means , please do this grow yourself and post pics. If this does work , I will be more than happy to post a public apology.

Well instead of practicing this grow room set up of a hole in the ground covvered in sodd and what not that has obvious problems that people have pointed out, could you use these bottles as reflectors in your own grow room? i didnt read the whole post just up until page about page 7 so i apologize if someone has already suggested it.
but he says they make the light stronger and what not, well if you put them around or above your grow room would the bleach bottles be able to reflect the light in a useful way? could our bulbs that we already have power the bottles?

They're not reflectors. They are supposed to act as little skylights. You'd be better off putting in a window.

Hey does anyone remember in which movie a professor shows his students a solar energy machine where light hits a multitude of small white panels and is reflected onto a multitude of small black panels, which make the wheel the panels are fixed to start to turn?

I've been thinking about this too man. I was thinking about building a shed to live in, but installing alot of these bulbs. I wouldnt care whether it looked suspicious or not, i'd just say i'm saving on electricity. What if glass bottles were used, not plastic? I could probably use coca cola soda bottles, you know the ones from mexico. Tall 1 liter bottles...http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2711/4079347650_2708450afe.jpg&imgrefurl=https://www.flickr.com/photos/js_design/4079347650/&h=500&w=187&tbnid=N6kQ5ToewtDegM:&zoom=1&docid=Zlj9GS0h-kRNJM&ei=yLC4U4DIKsGOqAb_zYHwCw&tbm=isch&client=firefox-a&ved=0CCsQMygJMAk&iact=rc&uact=3&dur=343&page=1&start=0&ndsp=23. Or does glass absorb more light than does plastic? or does it not spread it out as much as plastic? Sad to see you didnt try it out man, it woulda been a really resourceful little expiriment.
