Why would they grow vegetables and not weed? Are u the retard? these types of bulbs are being used with good results to gr9w vegetables as we speak. U say it don't work? Tell that to the Brazilian that eats and survives off this system.

Lol u Say it won't work yet its currently being used as we.speak to grow things...lol.. Seriously. . like i have proof they work.. I have studies posted with the technical data saying it will work.. U ppl who doubt couldn't be more wrong...

DO U NOT UNDERSTAND THESE THINGS ALREADY EXIST AND WORK.FINE??

Ted Bundy they are growing on the side of their houses, not inside i watched that video your talking about in the mesh plant walls.. your acting like a little kid, coming on here proposing a novel idea then shooting down all opposition and calling people retarded. Do you have any experience in organic light transmission, let alone growing, if you understood the refraction and reflection principals in use here you would see that although it may work (not saying it wont) there are a bunch of other issues your method causes, we are just pointing out flaws you may not be able to see with such infatuation on your idea.

POST PICS OR IT DIDN"T HAPPEN... thats the only way you can disprove any of your opposition on the idea. Prove us wrong.. please otherwise your just giving canada a bad name

Ok well first of all.. Weed sucks in Canada mostly.. Vietnamese growers.grow.a 6 week flowering strain called m39 and food all of.Canada with it and its terrible.weed. Our kush strains are good but kinda hard to find. So Canada's name ain't all that good anymore.

Secondly, If u need pics to understand it works your just a simpleton.

It works like i said. Each bottles produces 675-1400 lumens equal to a 60 w light.

All you guys always want to see pics. This site is cop infested. A Picture is just reasonable grounds for a search warrant to get my IP address from my ISP

i don't need pics to see that it works.. i need pics to see that it DID work. beeing an engineer i know for a fact that there are things that us engineers can make on solid works, but when it comes to real world application its imposible, there is a void between what works on paper and what works in real life.

but yeah if you want to go at it like that... your right it works, you paved the road for other growers to follow in your footsteps, even tho you have no evidence, it still worked on paper and in your brain and thats all that matters. no need to back it up with emperical data or follow the scientific method for instance becuase what do scientist at large know anyways?

personally i have been in space for three years now at the space station and you should see the results im getting with zero gravity, and of course im wayyy closer to the sun so its insane up here how much you can grow, i don't need air purifyers because my plants make all the oxogen we are in a symbyotic relationship, and i don't have to worry about cops, or pesky neighbors. I suggest everyone trys my method for massive yields.and NO im not using wireless im on dialup with a long cord.

Yes I realize that. Just like communism. In theory it's great but the practical application isn't. How hard would it be 2 engineer a box that is buried 4 and a half feet in the ground with a bunch of solar bulbs on top? That's not very difficult to achieve. I will build this thing and I'm going to grow tomatoes in it and I will post proof.

I guess you have a point. Unless I have proof of concept it doesn't mean anything. I'm going to start building a prototype soon. Anybody in history with a new idea has had to put up with scrutiny. I will build the stupid thing and test it and I guarantee it will work.

if your going to make the system have no electrical draw you are going to need a fan of some sort... i would suggest looking into stirling engines which you could use with some of the heat build up and ambient temperature of the surrounding ground.. you can power a fan for air movement to combat your hardest issue witch will be the build up of humidity leading to mould

here

welcome to science.

yeah I'm already familiar with Sterling engines.
if I manage to create negative pressure that will definitely help the ventilation. Could also use a solar cell to power a small computer fan. I could use a wind turbine, a car alternator, a car battery to create a generator capable of recharging the battery to power the fans.

Anybody with large property and land with a stream running through it could make a small hydroelectric dam or if they have a natural gas well they can tap into it and power a natural gas generator. That's pretty far fetched though lol

orrr you could reverse engineer mother nature look at the way ants and ground hogs make their tunnels..

the ground hog uses brenoulie's (sp big time) principle of fast moving liquids im pretty sure. by having a hole with a mound on one side, and a hole with out a mound on the other it utilizes the effect that fast moving liquids (in this case air) creat negative pressure. the air moving over the mound on one end creats a draw on the system where as on the other end there is an intake effect from this draw, if you have a pitched roof you already have a mound on one end.. this is the same prinicple that makes planes fly as the plane is sucked into the air due to the father distance the air on the top of the wing has to travel

EDIT: bernoulli's principle

all of that creates a draft through the tunnel otherwise the cute little furry dudes would die in their sleep

Thats crazy you just said that because I was thinking the exact same thing I just didn't know the proper terminology to explain it. That's why I kept saying negative pressure. The same concept of certain caves I've seen. I seriously had the same idea. I can tell you're a forward thinker.

For real though... That was smart. You explained it pro. I honestly didn't wanna say i can maybe vent without fans LOL.. Lights that don't require electricity and ventilation that doesn't require fans. .. I don't blame ppl for doubting now that i really think about it Haha

when in doubt allways look to mother nature for a solution, we have just tried to replicate all that we have from mother nature. its crazy like millions of years of a large group of orginizims all trying to survive yet thinking bassically as one, sharing methods and resolutions to problems... all that we have has been reverse engineered from mother nature, try me, its true hahah

thats the goal of all engineers is to make something as close to perfect (ie a replica of nature) as possible. look at trees for example they are in a system that is pre stressed (tension) on all sides to account for wind, otherwise it wouldn't be able to bend as much as it can in wind, its a living material that is so versitile it litterally changed the way humans live. we are still trying to recreate such a material Or the simple shell for example too, it has lamminar ceramic plates that give is much higher tensile and compressive strenght than anything humans have come close to with ceramics. MIT is currently working on some crazy secret stuff i was lucky enough to see while working in there, and they arn't even close! i mean spider webs can stop planes and weigh less than conventional methods to do so.. the list goes on and on

The bottles are just light catchers. .there's good chance the design of the bottles can be improved in many ways.. I need to design and build this man..just for fun.. To see if i can make it work with the efficiency of 0.5 GPW

Lol its actually a MIT student that invented the solar bottle lol.. Im just an self educated delinquent lol... Thus my informal style of relating information to others lol Im very unprofessional Haha...the cogs in my head are turning lol
