Most people who order off alibaba know they run a big chance of not getting lm561c diodes anyway so your tests would be useless.. paying 30-40$ a board that's 15% less efficient or so is worth it to more than enough people to keep them in businessLooks like I'm ordering loads of cheap crap then to prove all these fake boards have epistar diodes.
Agreed.Either way u get what u pay for imo
that's the way of the world bro. It is a shame.Agreed.
It's just a shame that white leds are going the same way as blurples with people selling anything to make a profit
http://www.todogrowled.com/ stephen said he will have stock next Monday. If you can wait till Friday, which I would, the new v2 qb288 will start selling.where in the EU I can buy the whole kit ?
Their review can say anything they want that dowsnt make it true. I can show u the conversation if u want. And there isnt a huge difference. Maybe 10%Is it a big deal lm561y or lm561c....but there rewiev say

the guy from Bava told me they dont use lm561cI dont know about bava but ive purchased 4 boards from meiju 3000k for veg and flower for my 4x4 running at 520-530w on 2 hlg-240-c2100b driver (without poti) im about 1 week from harvesting my White widow and so far looks like I should be able to pull easily 1g/w of quality bud probably more.. for about 400usd including shipping.. for a first grow with some newbie error here and there I think thatspretty good so either the lights are real lm561c s6 or not I couldnt care less they did grow very well and met my expectation so far.. ill report back once I have final dry weight - around in 2-3 weeks. I think quality for the price is really there.
On a side not the sales rep from meiju wrote to me yesterday and sent me their list of products with price. I see they have new boards with some epistar 660nm for added red spectrum but also received their compliance document for CE qnd ROHS for what its worth I dont care but maybe some care about that too
I expect you're correct about a lot of these boards having Epistar diodes, but this "black dot are lm561b nonsense" does have some background. I have Samsung Acuity strips with the black dot.Who started this black dot are lm561b nonsense. If they are lying about lm561c then who's saying they are even samsung. Many other companies use 5630 package too. Unless you have tested the voltages and output then you have no idea really.
E2a here's a seller of epistar leds sold as lm561c on aliba a. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Epistar-5630-SMD-LED-0-5W_1732271458.html this seller sells boards too so all them boards are gonna be epistar.
Any pics?I dont know about bava but ive purchased 4 boards from meiju 3000k for veg and flower for my 4x4 running at 520-530w on 2 hlg-240-c2100b driver (without poti) im about 1 week from harvesting my White widow and so far looks like I should be able to pull easily 1g/w of quality bud probably more.. for about 400usd including shipping.. for a first grow with some newbie error here and there I think thatspretty good so either the lights are real lm561c s6 or not I couldnt care less they did grow very well and met my expectation so far.. ill report back once I have final dry weight - around in 2-3 weeks. I'd bet my years crop on it.I expect you're correct about a lot of these boards having Epistar diodes, but this "black dot are lm561b nonsense" does have some background. I have Samsung Acuity strips with the black dot.
I got the 304boards running each board at 130w (or 260w per heatsink) :Any pics?
The Mejui Boards are working great for me too. Great coverage - about 12" x 36" per board. I might even consider another 2 later funds permitting.
I'm using 150 watts per 800 leds, probably not lm561c but that's half decent efficiency.
