New kid Some advice or intel?

I just planted a crip seed idk if a anyone knows what it is I'm from Florida btw. It sprouted and I just put it in some nice soil I bought from home depot and under 2 100w spectrum lights from home depot with 5500 K each I figured that's enough.....the plant is about 4 inches tall and maybe 8 days old.....I keep my house around 70 in the daytime and 64 at night. ( I know my friends n fl can't stand to come in at night it's like a freezer) I used miracle grow all purpose plant food also from home depot and didn't know if I could use a better type of food, though I means better food I could find in your average store I don't want to Order offline or anything. All I've been doing is reading the last few weeks about it and everyone says different things it's hard to figure which really works it's my first plant I don't want to risk doing something that don't really work. Should I keep it 24h light on while it's in this state? And secondly, how long usually for it to grow to the point where it's flowering?

If you can get baby bio in fl it would be better for the veg stage due to N content. get some 2700k bulbs for flowering, my first grow setup cost me the equivilent of about $9 in total, using household bulbs, miracle grow soil and cheap tomato feed but i still pulled 1 1/4 oz bone dry. If you can veg with 24hr light it will cut down your veg time but anything over 13hrs will suffice. flowering an indoor grow is down to when you start their 12/12 cycle, personally i start flowering at about 15" tall because my strains are mostly sativa they finish up about 3-4ft tall by harvest however rule of thumb is 4-5 weeks veg. Despite what alot of people say, my experience taught me that they are quite resilient plants and alot of noobie mistakes don't make much difference to the end result just make sure you don't overwater and you should be fine.

first thing you say its 8 days old and you feeding nutes? if so thats too young to feed. the cotyledons the 1st round leaves you see will give all the nutrients a seedling needs in the first few weeks. second MG food may do the trick but its not recommended for novice users due to its affinity to burn plants quickly. if you dont want to order online you can find a hydroponics shop im sure there is one near you and find an inexpensive nutrient line. the lights you have now will do but you will need more as the plant grows larger. i would start at the beginning and take it slowly. lastly a plant does not flower by itself. [excluding auto's] you would have to switch the light cycle from what they are on now. yes 24hr light will do just fine. but when you decide your going to need more lights with a 27k spectrum. you need to do more research. if reading the forums dont suit you, you may want to start with youtube and watch them. goodluck bro

As of now I'm using two 26 watt (100 w eq.) daylight CFL with 6500K each I got today and yeah I just got MG all purpose food. I also have a 300 watt 2700 K CFL light I planned on using is it ok if it is soft white I know you need 2700 K to flower in my store soft white was the only type that had 2700K. Also I have a fish tank with a killer T5HO 8 bulb fixture in a 65 gal. Jw if hydro is really a lot faster and how much harder it is. I haven't even looked into it I just know it grows under water or something. I need to figure out somethin I been buying a quarter of crip almost every day.... I need it for my college haha or I won't get straight A's somehow I do better

plant more than 1, ur gonna be upset if u put in all this work for a male, i say plant a minimum of 3 plants

1.Sounds like its stretching, 8 days old and four inches tall? Mines a month and is that tall.

2.Be careful with miracle gro very acidic, i use it myself, but in moderation.

3.Keep it warmer always 70 or above below 70 is too cold.

4.Keep it at twenty-four hour lighting at its current state.

5.Growing indoor you choose when it flowers by switching to 12-12 lighting, make it flower after it shows its sex. Let it grow to as big as it can, when plants flower they grow rapidly (3x sativa, 2x indica) so flower when you feel the time is right.

it would be u w/ the problem having a one month plant 4 in, he's of no concern, not to be dick like or ne thing but id be worrying about ur plant, it should be at the very least a foot or so one month in
