Hey Magus i know I might be a little off topic but I thought you might like to look at some of these pdfs, they might inspire you to come up with something. My only advice is keep it simple the first time....good luck

dope sorry, i meant to post this for someone else thread...sorry. I would think ebb and flow would be easier though, drips can clog. An ebb and flow is easy, lay out the table get the intake and outtake ebb and flow fittings a res and a pump. Nutes, medium, netpots, timer, drill, etc.

ok so one more question, for now. im goign to use 2 gallon buckets for my plants and am wondering; i need to fill it up with clay pebbles right? and i guess put in my rooted clones that are in rockwool? so can i just keep them in the 1 inch rockwool squares or do i need to put them into bigger, like 6" rockwool cubes? do they need this to retain the water/nutrients? still cant find a controller or how to make one for my control bucket also. so yeah, more like five questions, but i am learning a lot. thanks everyone.

Did you click the links I posted up? One of them sells the kit to make a control bucket for $80. It's better to buy a rubbermaid bucket and install the kit than spend 250 on a pre-maid bucket that wont have the exact levels you need. Also, you'll only need 2 +- 200gph pumps with 2 digital timers to run them...

Ebb & Flow Control Kit

2 gallon is going to be a little small, I'd use at least 3.5. And you know you need and air gap under the bucket right? I had them in 1" rockwool cubes and put them straight into the hydroton, you need to cover the rockwoll in pellets though of else you might get mold/fungus. ~> hope this helps, any detailed questions let me know.
