New growth curling hard

Hey everyone! I'm back again, I posted a few days ago about one of my autoflowers curling. I left it along for a few days and raised the light a little but it just gets worse. Could it be hitting a spot of hot soil? Should I chuck it.

Rd4000 light 60% at about 30 inchs

Soil: 60/40 ffof/ffhf
Light Schedule: 20/4

No nutes yet just soil amendments

Temp: 72F - 82F

RH: 58% - 65%

I just realized you had another thread what was the conclusion lol
Overwatering they think, I think either root problems from no perlite, or maybe a nitrogen toxicity. Maybe my vpd is off? My other plant looks great but this one is sad. Just want to know why to avoid it next grow haha

Sorry just meant no nutes at all, just what's in the soil, I water every 4-5 days with just ph between 6.3 and 6.8. Definitely could be root issues as I had no perlite when planting.
Drainage is what keeps moisture from suffocating the roots. If the drainage sucks it will be just like over watering, especially with a "watering schedule" mindset. If your soil feels damps days later when you go to water again it needs better drainage.
I remember from your other thread that you had another plant. How's that one doing?

Overwatering would cause root problems so . Your temp and rh look good. I’ve run ffof w no added perlite without root issues. The crew is probably right if that was what the general opinion was

You aren't giving them enough water they look super dry and looks like early signs of wilting to me. I do see the downward clawing and dark green leaves which is indicative of Early Nitrogen Toxicity. Not sure what you're feeding them so can't really give advice on that.

To get an accurate diagnosis of your plant we need as much information as possible.
  1. PICTURE OF PLANT *** VERY IMPORTANT ***
  2. Growing indoors or outdoors?
  3. Watering schedule (Water once a day, once every 2-3 days etc)
  4. Growing Medium
  5. Kind of lighting
  6. What stage of growth
  7. Environment - Temperature & Humidity
The more information you put in here the better diagnosis you will get.

She looks better than this one. No immediate concerns. I don't particularly have a watering schedule. I just water when if feels dry about an inch or two down. It's a 3 gallon fabric pot.

Should I try to just let it dry out? Or try to add some perlite to the soil now?

So how long until they're light/dry? When you do water is the soil just under the surface still moist to the touch?

You can also look at placement in the tent in regards to airflow....some of my pots dry out quicker on the surface giving the appearance that they need to be watered when digging around with your fingers but if I actually lift the pot, it still feels relatively heavy. Try to not water on a schedule and only when the plants need it. Plants are different, some are heavy drinkers and others are not. Pick it up and feel it, if it is light, water it. If it feels like it has some weight to it, check back tomorrow.

I'll be honest, about every 2-3 days after water they're dry till about an inch down, I then usually wait about a day or so for fear of overwatering/ having no perlite.
