New Grower Looking to Setup Grow Tent in Garage

I am cheep. change the knob on the closet to a key.. make a light trap for under the door..Cut a piece of wood to put in the window with a vent hole. Hang the fan and light from the ceiling.
When I started, I converted a 2x2x70 hot water heater closet to my grow cabinet. Built a false floor to keep pot elevated, used Walmart Mylar safety blankets for reflective walls, 6 inch clip fan (non oscillating) for wind and used a hole saw close to ceiling to make exhaust port and fabbed a holder for a scavenged overhead projector ducted fan. I don’t worry about aroma so no filter…

Do you have an opinion on going for a cheaper exhaust fan? I have seen a lot of people say not to because they don't last.
My opinion on the exhaust is to go with AC Infinity. It's the best you can get and you can use it for every grow moving forward. You will appreciate how quiet it is and how efficient it is.

If it was in your garage you could get something cheap and be okay, but if it's going to be in a closet, I bet you will prefer it being quiet.

In terms of the LED, the one you picked is great. Only issue, allegedly, is that it runs pretty hot.

According to

He reviews LEDs and the one you picked is easily on top 3 (Or even the best one, depending on what your priority is) I was considering the same one as well, but I might go with the Migro Array 2. Costs more tho.

I think this is the wave but right now in my current setup during the night I expect that it may get to pretty cool temps <60F which I think having the light heat it might help without having to spend on more on temperature control. The max I expect room temp to be during the grow is probably 75 around the end so if I need to cool it somehow I can figure it out then. But I think having a hot light might solve temp issues at night and I would only have to buy a dehumidifier. Do you have any thoughts about a setup like that?

Yeah if heat is not an issue, on the contrary, then a light that runs hot is not a bad thing. My thoughts on the dehumidifier are that you don't need a big one like the one you mentioned earlier. I had high humidity in my 2x2 tent and I used a wayyyyy smaller dehumidifier, like a 1 liter or 2 liter unit. So you'll save some decent money there.

Did you have a dehumidifier that could monitor and turn on and off or did you just monitor that yourself and control?

I have vivosun, and Mars hydro in the other tent, both are good. But maybe the AC exhaust fan would be better... For the size you'll be growing in a 4 " would work but if you have a speed control on it just pony up to a 6". Just so you don't have to upgrade later, cuz you may need to...

I just turned it on manually. Maybe I was just lucky, but because of the size of it, I just needed it to run 24/7 and it would be within the limits. So not super complex in my case.

I would skip the tent and section off a full height area if possible. I was considering one at first but I went for a section of basement- glad I did because my plants would have outgrown the tent fast.

Paint the walls white and add a liner to the floor. Ive gotten fans from all the brands and I don’t understand the aci hype. They all work just fine. 90% of the time a loud fan can be fixed by adjusting how it is mounted to reduce vibrations.

UPDATE:

Zazzy 4'x2'x5': 70
Cloudline Pro 4": 189
(2) Viparspectra xs1500 pro: 136 INSANE discount BTW if yall looking for lights apr 17-23
(2) Oscillating Fans/ Regular Fan: ~30
Total: 425

Gonna opt for a cheap humidifier later on after i see how the cloudline controls everything because my RH is fine right now at least until i get to flowering, but i think this is the setup so i dont have to purchase anything else to measure the vpd temp and RH at the same time and it includes the filter.

Let me know if you guys see any obvious oversights

EDIT: Added total

Think this is gonna be the final setup i go for and then see how the humidity looks before i get a dehumidifier for flowering.

Update:
4x2x5 Tent (5 ft is pretty hard restriction unfortunately but think topping plus LST may make this still possible?)
(2) ViparSpectra xs1500 pros

Vivosun makes a 4" exhaust fan similar to the AC Infinity for 59 dollars.

I hope thats a typo... Cloudline pro 4" is $119, not $185. Good choice, but you might consider 6".

FWIW, I wish I'd removed a section of closet shelf and bought a taller tent, it's only used for drying now.

I got an email a few days back they were selling em for 42$ for 4/20.
The only reason I plan on using the AC infinity set is to track my temp hum and vpd and control it. Do you think a vivosun kit would be reliable enough?
