New Grower, can't Decide on strain! HELP

Whats up guys, I have been reading this site for the past month or so and this is my first actual post. This is going to be my first grow and i feel i am ready to start ordering my supplies, although i am having a hell of a time deciding on which strain is best for me.

I have a 400w hps on the way and i will be using seedlings in soil and vegging for 5 weeks, my grow space is sort of awkward it is a 4x2.5 closet, but i am sure i can make it work. I will be using Fox Farm Ferts. Now down to my question, since i can only afford a 400w HPS i will only be able to grow 4 plants at maximum, since this is my first grow i will not be cloning until i am sure i can make this work.

I am a relatively heavy smoker (3-6) times daily but i am trying to find the perfect strain for me, i only have about 40$ to spend on seeds as i am on a budget so i am looking for HIGH YIELD as well as Potency, but mostly yield, i am trying to get at least 2 ounces of dry nug off my plants. I have only been looking around in Nirvana and here are the strains i came up with, ANYONE else have any other suggestions????

- 5 Seed Fem PPP

I would save up some more money and get better seeds, Serious Seeds Chronic sounds like what you want, Serious Seeds White Russian if you want Potency. If you must go cheap I'd go with White Label Super Skunk or White Widow.

Like I said, it sounds like you saved up and got the right light, why waste it on cheap seeds, buy quality and get quality, you'll be glad you did.

I would save a few more duckies and go with something from serious seeds....AK-47, White Russian or Chronic. WR is a cross of White Widow and AK-47...arguably two of the best strains out there.

1st off welcome to the site. myself becuz of the high, big buds and big yields i grow BIG BUD. your light is fine, if thats all you have even for veg. you can buy a mh bulb and run in that ballast. click in my signiture and you will see my big bud. you just might make your mind up when you see the big buds on her. you can veg your big bud for 20 to 30 days and pull at least 1/4 pound dry per plant if done right. good luck and again welcome

Wow, thanks a lot for your quick responses. After researching and staying up pretty much all night i have come to believe that my best bet would def be the White russian or Chronic strains from serious seeds, although being in college and with everything going on, saving up the extra 60$ could set me back 2 weeks or more. with that being said, i have come to find that Nirvana's best strains are going to be

AK-48
White Rhino
Bubbleicious
Papaya
I had also been looking seriously at the Chrystal strain (F1 hybrid) including White widow because it yields just a bit higher than than the others. I am thinking my 2 Favorites to be White Rhino and Chrystal, Again i am trying more for yield than potency and i have already analyzed BIG BUD and it just seems that it would be too weak.

So what do you guys think i could yield off of 1 White rhino or 1 Chrystal plant. Or if you have any other suggestions PLEASE im all ears, choosing my strain for the long run has been my biggest dilemma!

It is going to set you back 2 weeks to save up for the best pot you will find anywhere and that is asking too much ?

Especially when it is going to take 6 months to grow it ?

yeah but he's not talking sensi seeds big bud he's talking nirvana big bud, theres a world of difference

I think he should find another hobby if 2 weeks is going to take up too much of his time, this sport is all about patience.

I think he should get bag seed, he is going to kill anything he gets guaranteed, too much water, too many nutes, has to harvest early because he ran out of time so the bud will suck, etc etc etc, you name it, it will take him several grows and a couple years to get a handle on it guaranteed.

If he goes with Nirvana he has a 30% chance of finding a keeper, if he waits 2 weeks and gets a decent brand he has a 100% chance of finding a keeper.

It doesn't matter he will kill it all I can see it happening already.

Actually ur math sucks, 4-5 week veg, 8-9 week Flowering, 1 month max curing 4 1/2 months total WITH CURING for a month = 4 1/2 months, unless you growing outdoors.

Before you commit, consider Cannabiogen. Knock your dick in the dirt!

Go to hell, (among other things) is all i can think to say, i asked for your help not your doubtfulness, Ive read every guide top to bottom and between this site and others i feel QUITE confident, keep in mind growing weeds isn't rocket science if you follow your resources to a T, all i am doing is buying mediocre equipment and seeing if i can actually pull this off. After my first successful grow i plan to get 1000w Hps for flowering and 600w MH for vegging. and no i wouldn't even THINK about TOUCHING the plant until i can see 50-75% amber in crystals.

hell this big bud half milky tricks puts your ass out. and i still have a week and 1/2 left.

it takes u 6 months to grow my man? Get an HPS.

Big Bud is descent but the plant gets pretty big.

Might think about some indicas if your short on space
