I went with NY diesel for my first grow.

You should be able to go with anything and make it work with supercropping and a good setup.

But I have to agree with

I think he should find another hobby if 2 weeks is going to take up too much of his time, this sport is all about patience.

I think he should get bag seed, he is going to kill anything he gets guaranteed, too much water, too many nutes, has to harvest early because he ran out of time so the bud will suck, etc etc etc, you name it, it will take him several grows and a couple years to get a handle on it guaranteed.

If he goes with Nirvana he has a 30% chance of finding a keeper, if he waits 2 weeks and gets a decent brand he has a 100% chance of finding a keeper.

It doesn't matter he will kill it all I can see it happening already.

Not that you will kill it, but that a million and one things may happen.

If you don't get feminized seeds (which are more expensive), you wait the 6 days to have them sprout, I had 2 of the 4 not sprout, then I have been working them for about a month and still not flowering. I LSTed them the other day and butchered them, although it looks like it is going to work out ok for me, the costs still keep adding up.

I also had 2 bag seeds from a very good bag, and they are doing great. I know that after this time around I will really have a far better grasp on what to do.

And knowing what I know now I wouldn't have wasted $90 on seeds when now I realize that I should have sprung for the feminized seeds which were much more expensive. But all the money that I have dumped onto them now without knowing if they will turn out to be males and essentially be worthless or not is unnerving.

And if they both turn out to be males that means that I have to wait for another 3 months before I have another shot at some females.
