Wow!! I'm going through something similar.. LOL Wife says " You need to start spending more or equal time with me, than those plants, I hate them stupid plants"!!!! LOL Its a great hobby that I love... And the green thumb gets better and better everyday!!!

I see you lollipop the bubba. I usually take off the first couple of nodes no matter what I'm growing. They just always seem to be weak branches that don't really develop into anything. I just make it easy for them and kill them :lol:

Looking good so far Doc. I'm growing some Bubba Kush myself, a couple weeks behind you though. They're part of my mother grow along with a couple other strains I wanted to add to the collection. I'll keep checkin in for some tips!

Same thing my buddy's going through too, his is a little worse though. She's so controlling that she wants to spend every second with him. When I come over to help him with his plants she's like "oh I didn't know you and your boyfriend had a date tonight. I guess I'm leaving" lol.

Then she threatens to not let him grow anymore....in his own house :confused:

Thanks for the kind words...and good luck with your grow. I am pretty stoked so far...this is the first Kush that I have tried to grow. I'm starting to wonder if I somehow get two different pheno's of this strain or if there even is more than one?..A couple of the girls look like they are more sativa dom. and the others more indica....it's early though they will change I'm sure. Looking nice and bushy. As you can see I added a 200 watt CFL light right in the middle. I know I'm not the first to think of this but I think I will cal it "Stadium Growing". =) If you look at the way they have been growing it kinda reminds me of a stadium with that bowl shape. They will be 21 days on Tuesday, and I'm seriously thinking of starting flower a lot sooner than expected....they are growing like crazy......kinda starting to wonder how much they are going to stretch?....any ideas? Thanks again! :leaf:

Plants are looking excellent. Ok I have to get back to watching for deer now...

Looking good. I'd be rotating them every day though so they grow more evenly. They really seem to be leaning into the center. Might have some colas falling over if the plants keep growing at an angle like that.

Ya.....we were both in a good discussion in the "patients who need caregiver" thread and I was bitching about not wanting to pay 250 a zip...lol You told me just to grow my own....and I said ..."you know what...great idea." It was actually a really good thread until r1tony and his crew came in and started pissing everyone off.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday....then again I can only hope that my cola's will be heavy enough to have to support them..lol

I would put that light over them if it was me, or get some 23w cfl's and put them over the tops..

Well...my thought was is that when they start to stretch, the cfl would help with the lower growth.....we shall see i guess.

It's not that I didn't know you trained them, it was that I thought they would have been trained to spread evenly. I'm not very familiar with LST, so I didn't realize that you intentionally wanted them on one side of the pot. My bad.

Nice grow and good luck with it! I have 5 Bubbas growing outdoors with 2 supplemental 1000watt MH/HPS's. The supplementals are used about 3-4 hours
a day when the plants are not getting direct sun. Generally early morn and eve. I also use cfl's underneath my plants on top of the pots for better lower growth of the plants. I vegged my Bubbas for 16 weeks straight and now i'm
inside the 3rd week of flowering. I will be doing 8 weeks total of flowering. I been using FF soil and liquid neuts for veg, Dyna Grow Bloom
and some seaweed/kelp liquid extract for the first 5 weeks of flowering then I will hit them with Shooting Powder the remaining 3 weeks
of flowering to layer and build buds on top of buds. I also have Black Dominas growing in this fashion. If someone ever crosses
Bubba with Black Domina you would have Black Bubba!

No big deal at all my friend =) I'm actually new to it as well and I just did what I wanted with them...my hope was for 4-6 nice big tops per plant...so I did get that accomplished..lol if it is the correct way or not it worked pretty good.

Hey boss if i were u i would top if ur trying to get 4-6 tops, take ur plant down 3 nodes and ull have the tops u want, then veg for 7-10 more days then flip...JMO..I know ur LSTing thats just my suggestion...I only say this from having to top a sativa 3 weeks into flowering becuz of hieght and it got 12 tops and took most lower growth off so i just had the tops basically but took an extra 2 weeks to finish due to me topping to late and having hieght constraints with a sativa plant...Cuz that bubba will prob grow 2.5 -3x taller once u switch it to flower, mine did(dinafem haze)..But it looks great so far...
