Menace I bought the lights at a hardware store. The fixtures too. One of them I had to wire directly the other came with a cord, just depends on what you need and can afford. The bulbs are actualy grow lights for plants. I have the box still for the bulbs, I will post a pic...............

Do those bulbs actually do anything different? I was looking at them the other day to replace my t12 bulbs to some growing t12 bulbs specifically for plants, but the lumens on them were alot lower.

I dont know I just went with them. once the babies het stronger I have a 400 watt MHD light and then they go under 600 watt HPS.............

I also like that they dont get hot and I will check the lumens and post a pic of the box the light came in ...............hold on brb

here is a pic. I took three because the box is long it realy doesnt say how many lumens. It must have in the paper work that came with it but like a true stoner I lost or threw them away. lol

no I have mylar but the little darlings will not be in there long. They need to make room for the white widow seeds I will be germinating. Then they will move to the vegging room under 400 watt medal halide withe air conditioner and mylar ...............thnx for the suggestion though.

We usually call those fluro gro bulbs that you got T12's.
I use T5's for my seedlings and clones.
They work pretty good.
I agree 2-3".
You need some good ventilation and a fan blowing on them to start making the stems stronger.

Are you going to do any cloning this time around?

good advice my friend , they will get the fans in like a week when they move to the vegging room. And yes I will try to get two to three mothers going for cloning this time around. I also have a cloning area set aside as well. thnx for all the info...............

ok well I just got home from work and tended to my babies. And I smoked a few bong hits and decided to write to all of you and share the experience. First the hawaiin seedlings are coming right along and all goes well. I gave them a nice drink of water ( no nutes yet) and gave them some fresh air outside for like an hour.

Now to my 7.5 week old babies ( flowering) Man these bitches are bad ass. They are strong tall colas everywhere and crystals like you wouldnt believe. The room is a cool 72 degrees and I treated the room and the outer vegging area/watering area for bugs. The grirls are realy showing how strong and awesome they are. I will be trimming them a bit below( nothing like trimming the bush eh guys.........lol) and taking pics in the morning. I gave them their water and nutes and just spent some time frolicking and laughing with them. Oh how wonderful it is to be able to grow and enjoy this fantastic hobby.

Well I usualy think about alot of you here on the forums and I like to share; so there you are. I will have updated pics tomorrow.

but i am using a 400w mh since day 1.
and i am using hydroponic

yeah I have 400 watt mh and hps but my other babies are using them so in about two weeks the will rotate into there..............
