Ok so I have decided to start a journal here, with the intentions of posting pics every step of the way for learning purposes, as well as comments and the much appreciated ADVICE!

I have learned alot from my first grow and from this site. So I wanted to just give back , hang out, and share the new grow. *takes a massive drag on the glass pipe* "cough cough ........ahhhheemm!" Ok where was I? Oh yes so I am going to post here as much as I can and as long as the babies grow. Perhaps we can also name them together once they start to show personalities.

ok so lets begin.:

05/30/2007

began to germinate 16 seeds from Hawaii. I was told they were Maui waui hybrid? Not to sure, but they were free and came delivered and they look good and passed tests to see if they are viable seeds. I am using the paper towel , water , seeds and plastic bag technique. As you can see I wet the towel then placed the seeds then folded . Next I sprayed the towel again using clean bottled water. And last I placed the package in a plastic bag , sealed with tape and placed on my window seal.

I had read about this on this site and I also was given this link. I want to try to site all my refrences so it is easier for all to understand, cross check me, and to learn themselves. I will leave the packet on the window for aprox three days. Talk to you all soon.

They get air when you blow the bag up and tie off... doing this makes it like a small style propagator just put them somewhere dark and at room temp and in a few days they should show GL.

Ok by June 2nd i saw the seeds starting to germinate. I transplanted ( or planted) them in a nice organic foxfarm soil called ocean forest and I mixed it with pearlite. All but three of the seeds have sprouted roots. I think the other three are duds. Of the 13 I planted three have already pushed through and introduced themselves. w00t!

So thats where we are now. I have the seedlings under a grow light ( flourwescent I thin 20 watts not sure but it is made for growing ) hOPE TO KEEP YOU ALL POSTED AS MUCH AS i CAN. My other babies have passed their seven week mark of flowering and Will soon be ready.

enjoy the pics.~

yeah I was thinking the same thing . The sides of the shelf can be adjust so maybe I should. But I thought at this young age it is not yet required, but I have been wrong maytimes before........................so what do you all think?

They should be about 2" from the seedlings otherwise they'll stretch for light...which isn't really desired->> less bud more stem

I'd go ahead and movem closer asap

The seedlings are doing fine. Of the 16 three did not even germinate , and one is still in dirt , I am hopeful . but realistic. and the other 12 are doing great.

I also included a new pic of my other babies at their 7th week
