My 8 yr old is fucking obsessed with fried rice, ever since I got my new wok. Hel smash this whole pile in like 15 minutes, and asks for it like 4-5x per week. (My kids are on the autism spectrum, and get super obsessed with things). He’s eating this for breakfast, while watching videos of me cooking, on his tablet. I guess it’s nice to be appreciated?View attachment 5245889

Nope, I'm shopping Wolf for when I redo my cabinets.
Do some research into burners if you’re really into stoves (Google and look for the AJ Madison website, to compare features and get industry-pricing) . I looked at wolf and several other brands, and I ultimately went with a Blue Star 6 burner range (bucket list item, this has been a decade+ wait) and 1200 CFM vent hood above it. Blue Star has “open burners” like you’ll find in a traditional restaurant stove - which are really nice for heat distribution and control - much more so than the typical “closed“ burners you’ll find on most residential ranges. If you wanna nerd out and talk stoves or kitchen stuff, I’m game (I used to be a restaurant banquet chef - not a great one, but i cook ok) :-). I’ve had this range since April, so it’s gotten some good testing.

Edit - my burners top out at about 22,000 BTU. I learned how to wok on a professional wok stove, and nothing even comes close. It’s frustrating.

Cant say I would eat it, but it is not likely to kill ya.

Is dried laver healthy?

Like so much seaweed, laver is renowned for its anti-cancer and anti-viral properties. Laver has also been shown to improve gut health and is recommended for people suffering from certain types of digestive ailments. The list of laver's health benefits goes on and on, so it's not crazy to call it a superfood.

Boiled intestines has got to be up there.
Haha I have a funny story…

I love dim sum, I’ve been going out for dim sum since I was a kid. I enjoy introducing people to it for the first time as well.

My current girlfriend really enjoys it, but ordering from the carts they push around can be a little intimidating for her.

But after maybe our 5th time our for dim sum, I told her to go ahead and order for us. She was feeling pretty confident…

And ordered the intestines.

We ended up asking for a to-go container, and throwing it away once we left the restaurant. I tried…I just couldn’t…haha

I’m a pretty adventurous eater…but I’m not a huge fan of bowels. She was mortified, said she thought it was stewed beef…lol

Lol. Well now she knows lol. I'm a big believer in trying most things at least once. I've tried intestines at least 2 or 3 times. Just not for me either. Too fucking chewy. It's like asshole flavored bubble gum.
