How much milk and sausage? A whole lb tube of the Jimmy Dean? Thanks man.
I don't use Jimmy Dean but I grind my own sausage and use a copycat Jimmy Dean recipe for seasoning and reduce the salt.

This is my basic recipe but you can add more sausage and sometimes I do. I usually stick with these ratios though as it makes just enough for the two of us and I pre-portion things so I can just pull out enough for the meal. You can add more sausage to your liking.

1/4 lb sausage, 1 cup milk, 1 tbsp flour, 1-2 tbsp butter.

Cook the sausage in the butter on until it's done making sure to break it up and then add flour. Cook for 2 minutes and then add the milk. Bring to very low boil, lower heat and simmer until desired consistency.

Sweet man. Thanks for that. I'm not lucky enough to grind my own, but I'll be making some Jimmy Dean biscuits and gravy soon. Thanks man, :bigjoint:

Edit: I just realized I've already got everything. (:

Lately I've been on a kick of baking biscuits from an exploding cannister, but I want to start making them from scratch.

I did start making my own breading for fried chicken. The brown is crushed Townhouse crackers. I added a bunch of pepper, chili powder, salt and some other spices that I can't remember off of the top of my head. It was a little bland, but it crisped up really nicely. I need to tweak it a little.
