When my seeds first sprouted I gave them 4x the bottle recommended nutes. The more the better if you want huge plants, right? I also water my 1 gal pots with at least 3 gals per day. Plants need water.

4 plants under a 100w CFL (23w actual watts)

All of my plants died. Did I do something wrong?
Yeah, I mean in all honesty (even posted this tibit of advice on another thread), search for either a 5000W or 10,000W HPS strobe light and keep it on 24/7 in your tent about .5inches from the top of your plant.

Why did you dilute your nutes? You should just water with the nute bottle, so go to the store and buy 365 days worth of each nutrient....more cost effective to buy in bulk anyways.

Whoa. I never thought of it, but a strobe going 24/7 is the same as 12/12. It's just quickly on and off all the time. Radical.

I love the buying in bulk idea. I live in an ag community. What is the best RoundUp Ready(tm) strain?

I have always said the secret to
always having plants that look
perfectly healthy is
Hide the dying leaves under my couch.
Is this true?
Just messin with ya.
But I Have always said that.

Any info I give is based on what I would be comfortable doing.
Please get other opinions.

In nature plants don't live in plastic buckets but at my house they do or they get the f**k out.

I've been reading a lot of forums about flushing techniques, and some if not most say to not flush at all or just to decrease the amount of nutes during the end. And some say to flush 2-3 weeks prior to finishing. The peeps that say to not flush are saying that flushing takes away valuable nutrients that is needed towards the end of the plants life cycle. And then again, peeps say that without flushing will result in nutes being enhaled or smoked when the product is dried and cured. So, what is it really?

It is best to flush about 2 weeks before harvest, if you don't it won't do any harm to the plant but in the end you would be smoking nutrients and if it comes to edibles that is even worse.

Hi guys!

I have a 21 days old one. I think it shows preflower signs. She is an auto. Is she to small for preflowering?(that s a 4-5 liters pot). When should I switch to HPS ? Thank you!

see i dont flush at all as the last 2 weeks of the plants life is the most vital the buds need the nutrients mor towards the end than before as its comming close to finishing the plant is putting all its might into your buds and i have flushed my plants in the past and noticed my plants where yellow and looking sorry for them selfs so what i now do is feed them full strenth till 2 weeks befor e the end and then half strenth for 1 week then the 2nd week give them 1 watering then stop all water food and then leave them till th end of the week then cut and have notice my plants still go yellow from no nutes and i get about 3 extra oz from my 5 plants so there is a differance but the best thing to do would be for you to find the way you wish to grow

later edit, I think the ~I~ meant to be an ~it~...

so is showing preflower, right?

I use MH now....
yes that works with a standard plant but as its an auto flowering you cant give and exsact date on when it will start to flower so most people use hps from day 1 as and with an auto you can flower on 24/0 light or 20/4 you dont nedd the 12/12

yeah they are the start of showing its sex an yeah also preflowers

also that plant will shoot up massivly autos are sneeky they stay small then grow tall fast and its amazing to watch how quick them bastards grow

sorry for me spelling im high as hell and typing far to fast hahaha
no problem, I just didnt understand but I concentrated and got your point.

Yeah, it s my first grow and is so awesome to see how fast this one grows, I mean for a plant to see clear progress from one day to another is something...

thank you!

4 Plants under a 23w is not enough but I started mines of with 30w cfl so I can't say much about that. You shouldn't be feeding them in the first place if they just sprouted, on top of that you fed them 4x more than the recommended dose so you cant exactly expect them to survive and then ask what did I do wrong? (Not trying to be harsh)

Is this a subjective opinion, can you back up that statement with any facts?

Have you ever done side by side comparisons of flushing and not flushing, or are you just being a parrot again?

They usually flower when the reach maturity which is usually at around 3 weeks
well i disagree as ive had autos just under 2 weeks that have started to show sex and have done Sweet Cheese auto and that has always started flowering as soon as its 3rd true leafs show and ive had autos that have takn 5/6weeks to show there sex its all about genetics and autos are a thing of beauty beauty shouldnt be rushed

Anyway, depending on the strain it can be different and there are variables such as what lighting is used, light cycle, temperature, humidity, soil used etc

I haven't grown autos but on seed bank sites they usually mention specifications like when the seeds flower (autos) and how long they take
