Thanks. It's a little stretched but also waited way too long to transplant, it was in a 1/2 Gal container until 7 days ago (now it's in a 5 Gal), so that's part of the reason as well (and the reason my soil ran out of nutes, killing those leaves, I'm assuming is because the plant got way too big for a 1/2 gal), AND it's under a metal halide because the only HPS i have is way too big for the spot....BUT I've got 2 55 watt flowering CFLs somewhere around here that I've been looking for to put as extra lighting but having trouble locating them where they are. I think once I find those and set them up they should help a little bit... at least i'm learning so that next time will be that much better. Thank you for the help! +repBecause they are dead and to me look crispy you should be able to pull them off without doing any harm to the plant but if they are still moist and don't come off with a gentle pull the cut them off just near the stem.
Your plants have been stretching a lot, you should have kept the lights much closer and I'm guessing you are using CFLs for flowering which provide not so dense buds in flowering... HPS is a better alternative for thick dense buds.
I hope the above information helps in your current and future grows
nice color on them buds, whats the name of it,and like the others said u can cut them off,i letem get like that too before i cut them or pull them, the plant sucks everything out of them leafs before it drops them on its own
Yeah you should always transplant about 1-2 weeks into veg and if your not sure when to transplant then check the roots by turning the pot/container upside down whilst having your thumb and index finger around the plant to provide it with support, if the roots are gathering up at the bottom of the pot then it is time to transplantThanks. Agreed, I've transplanted 3 times in this grow....just next grow my final transplant will be to much larger pots. My 5's right now have roots creeping out the bottom all over. They want to GROOOOOOOW haha. You should start with small, medium and then the final (large) pots with photoperiod strains but should start with small and then transplant to final pots with autos as they like to have well established root growth and try adding in perlite to air out the soil
I won't be replying to any posts for the next couple of hours as it is my bedtime
Chill on the water a bit and that should clear up the drooping.i am noticing that this post is active so if i may , i want to ask my question that is already in a post already at the forum
i am starting to notice something happening in my leaves , some brownish spots are emerging, my plant is 24 days old and no nutes yet.
my other seedling is also 24 days old but it didn't develop like my first at all although it is getting bigger and adding new leaves but still very compact
the last question is about my new sprouts , i had 8 germinated of which 6 sprouted and of which 4 is still good of which 2 is healthy lol . i don't know why but they tend to die quickly and go down very fast > should i replant in a larger pot or what should i do

Holy shit.Bump......
1st Question: Leave the roots alone! keep your lights closer to the plant or use CFL/FLURO lights to keep them a few inch from the plant this will keep the plant small also keep the plant in a small pot this will stop it growing wildThis is a good thread
my questions are about ROOT PRUNNING.
I need to keep my plant about this size during veg till i can buy a tent.
Ive decided togo with root prunning, ive already topped,LST,SuperCropped
so i figure root pruning would be my next step to keeping her small.
kinda like a small mother although i dont want a small mother i plan to bloom her just as soon as i get a tent i dont have room to bloom her now.
My question is, would root prunning keep her the size she is now? shes in a 1gal pot to also keep her small.
i also understand that when root prunning u should allow atleast 2 weeks of recovery, but that would mean 2 weeks till i can flip her or 2 weeks of dealing with a slowtchy plant???
