Alright i havent been on in awhile but now i'm back. I've done multiple outdoor grows with 50 plus plants and some smaller indoor grows. But what i'm planning to do now is step it up to a decent size indoor grow. What I need from you guys is some info on peoples opinions like t5's or h.i.d's and mayb what kind of ventilation to run, how big of carbon filters, and how many plants i could fit into my space. I have 3 spaces that I am going to grom in the first one is 12 ft long by 5 feet wide by 8 feet tall. the second one is 9.5 feet long by 6.5 feet wide by 7.5 feet tall. The third one is 10 feet long by 3 feet wide by 7.5 feet tall. I have 3000 to spend on everything on need. Any and all suggestions would be very much appreciated. I know how to grow and i would consider myself to be a knowledgeable person. All my strainds are indica dominate but i'll get into that later. I was thinking about soil as a medium but I'm willing to try anything. The rooms are all next to each other so they will all be connected by ventilation. I will probaply be going to do 1 veg room and 2 flowering rooms. thanks a lot

I'm still new around here but I'll throw in my 2 cents. You could run a perpetual ebb and flow sog under hps and mh's. Veg room with your mothers/clones, throw them straight into 12/12 after a couple of weeks. You'd have to spend quite a bit of time tending the plants but your yield could be enormous.

thanks 4 the input trunk, I was thinking about vegging for 4 wks and flower for 6 wks. I'm a big fan of organic, i guess it's cuz thats what ive had the most success with and its what im most familar with. I'm going to be purchasing everything i need hear in a week or 2, was thinking about 5 600 watt mh and 6 600 watt hps, anyone have a good website to buy from, my local garden shop is kinda pricey. I'll def keep you all posted and thanks for all the input

you would be lucky to get the lights for 3 G'ZZZ

I fig'd that i may be able to find someplace that would give me a break for buying in bulk. I was definitely gonna get all vented hoods though and I do have more to spend but i'd like to keep it around 3

i got a 1000watt complete set up with 6" air cooled hood and hydrofarm ballast from this site.. www.stealitback.com... but its a police auction site.. and some people have mixed feelings about that.. oh i got it for 93.00 with hortilux bulb. yeah all for 93 dolla... make your own bucket system or flood tables .. use sheets of wood with fiberglass resin.. use craigslist and check places like humbolt and mendincino farm/garden sections

I checked out that stealitback site and found some decent deals but it is kinda sketchy buying from a police auction site, and since i would be buying a lot of lights it may seem really fishy. I was thinking about 600 watts a light compared to 1000 just because of the infared factor. any info i much appreciated

does everyone suggest hydro compared to an organic soil based grow when doing a commercial style grow? it just seems thats the generally consensus just from flipping through some other threads

try vertical setups. Check out heath robinsons stuff. I still think eco system rules. Use a single 1k watt light and bobs ur uncle u will be yielding pounds. OR CHECK OUT HEATH ROBINSONS THING WHICH IS SIMILAR BUT PROFFESIONAL AND MORE AFFORDABLE.

Three k is enough money to get yourself a very VERY nice grow room.

What i would recommend for your lighting would be 1000w hps lights, although buying then complete is a lot more expensive then just buying the ballasts and socket set and making your own, you can save alot of money that way. Also have you thought about a track mover for your lights. Ive almost doubled yields having one because it moves your lights around like the sun would in nature. It really guarantees that there are no bud sites without enough light

Also you may want to think of a Co2 generator. These are pricey and there is really no way to get around it. The system i have taps directly into your natural gas line and automatically turns on and off when needed. This is great for super dense buds.

Also indoors hydro is the way to go in my mind. You get less problems with mold and whatnot on the soil.

Though it may sound childish, and im sure you aready know everything that is in this video, and you may have already seen it but check this out. Its a great growroom set up, and it shows you how to make a home-made hyrdo system that truly rivals pre-made set ups.

what strain finishes in 6 weeks? i'd flower 8-9 weeks

i would setup one room for veg and mothers. one room for flowering weeks 1-4 then the other room for 4th till finish. or setup both rooms the same and just have them alternate.... 12 on 12 off at opposite times. this helps keep electricity usage equal so if for some reason your place got a red flag they wouldn't see 12 hours of 6000w on and 12 hours of 1000w.

just make sure to start one room and then don't start the next for like 4 weeks so that you don't all of a sudden have to harvest and trim 100 plants you could do 50 and then 50 more later.

be sure not to run out of money. i would suggest just running one veg and one flower room for now. expand later.

I checked out heath's grows which look amazin for how many plants he has. Is bob ur uncle a member on here or is it a style of grow cuz i couldn't find any info on it. I appreciate your help. you guys think i should do something like what heath did a vertical style light grow or a sea of green style grow. i'm buying all my equipment in the next week

Thanks for the info weedman, much appreciated. I've seen that movie a couple of years ago when i was first figuring out cloning and the basics of growing. thanks for reminding me though cuz it was a good brush up. as far as lights i think i'm going to get lumatek ballasts and put together my own light setup as you suggested. Anyone know where to get 600 watt lumatek ballasts for a good price? For bulbs i'm going to go with horitlux of course, in my mind there the best bulb. I also think i decided on a SOG setup with a couple of decent size e&b talbles using my biggest room for the tables and my smaller room for my mothers. what do you guys think about the SOG method, i'm interested mainly in yeild and quality. Does having no veg time affect the quality at all? I know the plants will be signifacantly smaller but how mUch does 1 plants yeild on average? thanks for evryones help again- DMX
